Not urgent or important, but just wondering (temporary unlisted member rank appearence next to post)

I was posting as 'normal' when I noticed next to my name the member rank "Well-known Member" for that post and that post alone. It vanished upon refresh (reverted to the normal rank title), so I'm just curious as to why that appeared at all.

if trying to duplicate it, the only thing I really did was used the full post editor (to preview, thus double check my BB code before posting). One of my other posts above (in the same thread) displayed as normal the whole time.

Don't read too much into it. Seems like it may be a bug (?) as it's apparently happened before.

I figured it as much. It does seem like a fitting title for one of the higher 'tiers' or special recognition for known helpful posters across sections of the forums/etc. but I'm not expecting it to be added, either.

It happens now and then. When it first happened to me I got confused... then it happened a second time and now I just ignore it...

Also, on the same line of "bugs"... Searching doesn't work at all. Oh My!!!

actually, search does work - at least within a thread. I haven't had much success finding a thread unless I search for a known part of the title (and only search titles), but again, that works too - albeit a little cumbersome.

the only times I've known it not to work are with short words and/or very vague/common terms.
