Does anybody here know of an nes emulator of some sorts that allows two instances to be going on at one time? I want to host a speedrun competition for Super Mario Bros. at my school. I wish to be able to have two runners going at the same time on the projector for everyone to see.

I would just get two different emus and start them one after the other.

FCEUX, and Nestopia maybe?

Depends if theyre both cycle accurate for timing....

But how they going to run two windows at same time with controllers mapped each?

It is possible to have two active windows if you have two GPUs and tweak a couple Windows files, but that's too much work for something that insignificant. Just get two computers and two projectors, that's the best out of the quick and simple choices you got. Other than that, you can use two computers sending video stream to one other computer and then display that third computer via the projector with the streams one next to another.

Assuming your school's infrastructure is half decent, then yes. Also, you do realize you can just set up an ad-hoc connection between the three computers (which doesn't even require internet, although requires additional wifi antennae to set up) to transfer the stream, right? And by "stream" I didn't mean something like Twitch or anything, just plain old screen capture.
