You can find them pretty cheap on eBay in a variety of different conditions and the same for Amazon. You can also tend to find them in many GameStops or local game stores.
I recently got mine from eBay. It was a great deal. Just look at it carefully. And Ask Questions
eBay is your best bet for them.
However you should be careful with batteries because there's been some reports from last year that they have swollen up and can be a potential safety hazard. Remember that the batteries are more than 15 years old, so replace the older units with a fresher one if they still sell them or if you're experienced in modifying hardware find a battery mod.
Yeah I would look into getting a new battery, All of my psp's including the 3000s have had their batteries swell up within the past year.
you can find PSPs on eBay pretty cheap and just look at the photos if you want to see if the condition is fine for you
