    If I put myself in others' shoes, I can understand why one wouldn't care about good quality headphones and be fine with headsets that have satisfactory audio quality but with other features... But from my own point of view, I simply cannot fathom why you wouldn't want to get an amazing high end pair of headphones lol.

    The only way to judge what impresses them more is by letting the same person try out products in different price ranges, but by the end they will have learned more about how to discern the subtle differences which a complete newb to hifi audio wouldn't be able to discern, invalidating the results.

    The point being, in two separate timelines if you gave the same person a decent $50 pair of headphones or a $500 one in both cases they would probably be equally happy because the one with the $50 headphones wouldn't know what he was missing out on, and in effect, wouldn't be missing much but the one with the $500 headphones might be ruined by them and never be able to go back to cheap headphones.

    To be fair even DankPods who plays in a band and has so many different audiophile headphones from different time periods is still impressed by the sound out of some sub-$50 headphones/IEMs so you really don't have to spend a lot to get good sound. Just don't buy cheap crap and avoid overpriced brands where you are paying more for the brand than the hardware if you want a good deal. Spending hundreds isn't necessary.

    I've seen many people misunderstand how AC remotes work. You can change anything on it without pointing it and then just send one last signal to the AC and all of the data is sent in one go. A lot of the time I see them pressing the power button twice to turn it on, but don't get that they're sending an off signal first and only then an on signal.

    I feel bad for future PC players of GoW. The mid game reveal and references would have zero impact to those who haven't played the earlier games.

    That is a good point. For PS4 owners, generally I think of people coming from the PS2 or PS3, who got a PS4 cause they're used to and prefer Sony. So if they are interested in GoW they probably have experienced the classics as they're the goto games of the previous consoles as well, not coming just for the hype for the PS4 game.

    Also there is GoW3 for the PS4, that would be enough to get the reveals I'm talking about, just one or two small details may not be as clear if the previous two games weren't played.

    In any case PC players do have the option to emulate, and PS4 owners have PS Now (so does PC), so thankfully anyone who is interested has the option so that's good.

    But ofc there are many new gamers and from other systems who began with a PS4 so that's true, no distinction there.

    I've always found people who make mistakes in referring to something and then respond like "yeah but you know what I meant" when called out are pretty insecure and unnecessarily defensive. Sure the point is probably evident somehow, but is it so hard to admit and say "sorry yeah that's what I was trying to say"? :P

    Yes but that wasn't my point, I was saying the former does point to the latter as it can be evident, like my example. Rather the point was becoming somewhat embarrassed you didn't say it right and instead of acknowledging it you rush towards making the excuse that the person got the point anyways so it doesn't matter.

    Alright then. And yeah it isn't but I brought this up cause those people actually make it a big deal, I've seen many comment chains by now and most of them end up with that person arguing all day being butthurt. :P
