    TIL that, if a Cramorant uses Surf or Dive with <50% HP, it will get a Pikachu stuck in its beak. Hilarious, but how? Whilst diving? HOW?

    Pikachu can't learn Dive, and has no business being underwater. Arrokuda makes sense - fish - but an electric rat?
    Some 'chu can learn Surf, so that's...possible...but Dive? Huh?

    Started playing Bravely Default 2, and...why does everyone start at different levels? That's a major bugbear for me.

    Also, why can't I disable EXP/JP/pg earning, a la the 3DS duo? That's dumb.
    Oh, and I have Adelle KOed so Seth and Elvis can catch up to her, but Sloan INSISTS on reviving her. Ugh...IDIOT. If I have had her KOed for numerous battles in a row, then I DO NOT WANT HER REVIVED, OLD MAN!

    I concur; the new Party Chats are also quite a downgrade from Bravely Second's animated versions, that actually showed the group moving around instead of mere portraits. Additionally, "weight" is dumb as hell, considering squishy Jobs oft need more armour than tanky Jobs that can hold more.

    And how Bravely Second improved upon the first by allowing the player to highlight an option and press R to immediately queue up multiple of that action; here, it's seemingly reverted back, stupidly enough.

    Like, gimme something to be excited about. A Zelda game that doesn't suck; it can even be a remaster or port, IDC. A new Mario game, maybe. Luigi's Mansion 4, another Xenoblade Chronicles (or an XCX port), a decent Pokemon game, Kirby - ANYTHING!

    Next Spider-Man game: control both Miles and Peter? Venom, Goblin, and Lizard as villains? Just finished SM:MM on PS4, and am excited!

    I haven't said a single spoiler, though - except for maybe that Screwball and Taskmaster existed in PP, but not in MM, and Petey's hologram challenges are literally unlocked very soon after starting the game.

    Yeah sure, just that I usually want to know as little as possible about the game like Venom being there which I didn't know, it probably is common knowledge but I consider even details like that a spoiler. Not saying it's your fault at all though, it's just my weird preference. :)

    Got a multiple-choice exam on the 11th, closed-book and ProctorU-required. I just feel dirty having that shit installed, since it's a massive security hole - Dashlane tells me a whopping EIGHT logins were compromised last year because of that stupid extension!

    Though not sure why it sprinkled in some Spanish words...was that just a norm for kids show at the time? Dora the bloody Explorer did it too.

    In my opinion, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and XC: Definitive Edition are by far THE most beautiful Switch games. Nothing comes close to them.

    BotW has a truly hideous art style that just fails to copy The Wind Waker's cel-shaded charm, and thus falls far behind Xenoblade. Luigi's Mansion 3 is quite attractive, but it doesn't provide huge sweeping vistas. Link's Awakening is also very pretty, but in a simpler, toy-like way. Pokemon...don't make me vomit, please. Pikmin 3 is, well, basically a Wii U port, and thus doesn't exactly count.

    Honestly I think Octopath is the standout for me. The Xeno games look fine, but you can see they're clearly held back by being on the Switch. Octopath doesn't really feel like that. It's just a fresh take on JRPG designs.

    Octopath, huh...it tries to mesh flat sprites with lavish backgrounds, and the result doesn't exactly work for me. Xenoblade just works; there's no clashing design philosophies there, artistically.

    In my opinion, English NEEDS a singular form of "they"/"them"; since those can also refer to a group, it gets confusing in text.

    The thing is, it IS already singular.It may not seem like it because the pronouns are mostly used for groups in a lot of media, but still Even if you see someone and don't know what their gender is, you would subconsciously refer to them as they. e.g. "Wow, they have such a cool car."

    It did get DMCA'd, which is why development ceased at 3.6; but many mods based upon it have been made, the community even patched out 3.6's memory leaks just a couple years ago. Project + is considered to be the truest successor to Project M.
