There is no such thing as objective morality. In order to "prove" some action is good or bad you need to first set forth ground rules which are inherently subjective.

@x65943 honestly not surprised i would get this subjective comment here lol, but um yeah i disagree with your opinion and there is such thing is object morality - it's just sad that you cannot see or even know it's there...such a very atheist mindset which leads to a dangerous lifestyle mate, - and by the way, 1/2

@x65943 if morality by *your* logic is subjective then why are you online? i am pretty sure you are also okay with people stealing from you :D but at the end of the day i can see you didn't like the fact that there is proof against porn being bad. 2/2

I mean I don't watch porn personally, and I don't think it's good for people. I think it leads to unhealthy relationships and expectations. But that said - even in a world with a god morality is not objective. God's opinions are still subjective.

@x65943 sorry i don't believe you, when a) you commented on this post legit showing how defensive you got over someone making a video talking about this topic, - now i would've might've? believed you if you would have stated that from the gecko instead, you didn't. - again if you don't think it's good for people then why did you make that comment? really contradicting yourself.

I don't watch it lol. I actually bring this up whenever people talk about "objective morality". It all started with a LOOONG conversation with my pro-choice ex-gf years ago who tried to convince me abortion was "morally correct" which tbh is just gibberish.

At the end of the day a "god" would simply be another subjective being like us, and his opinions would be his opinions. As we all have free will we can decide for ourselves what is right and wrong.

@x65943 you are doing the same thing as last time you tried conversating with me on a topic - repeating yourself when i already made it quite clear on that response of yours.

@x65943 no he wouldn't, i can see you have a soft spot when it comes to facts especially about a father that is real, no it would be objective opinions again, just state you disagree with me on what i commented not repeat yourself. - yes we all have free will but you have consequences for your actions....disagree with you on your final opinion because if that were the case then people wouldn't be robbing.

That's the thing - when morals are subjective we can all choose for ourselves what is good or bad. The thing she said which was dumb was that she "proved" it was good. How can you prove anything without first making assumptions? You cannot.

@x65943 a person who believes in morality would objectively be against something like abortion yet you are sitting here telling me that there is no such thing as morality - does that make sense to you?

Let's start here. What is objectivity? It must be something provable. How can you prove eating pork is wrong for example? Well we have to agree on what "prove" means first. If you are content to say it's god's opinion and you believe in god, then you can say that's sufficient. And if we all agree on who god is and that definition of objectivity then we can agree.

But there are two issues: you can't prove there is a god, or which god that would be, or what his opinion would be.

And that's all assuming we agree on objectivity and that god's opinion would be objective. Which I disagree with. God's opinion is simply another opinion even if he can punish us for not following his ideas. In the same way a king cannot define objectivity despite how much he tortures or kills us.
