    This is not as stupid as it sounds. It worked on old computers. BIOS setting "Hold on keyboard error". If no keyboard is found this error shows – and a keyboard connected afterwards normally is detected right away; pressing F1 continues boot.

    quite ok as far if you don't have usb keybord so your old bios can detect only ps/2.
