I agree, Austrian dialect sounds a bit similar to the Bavarian.

If I would write (onomatopoetic) /words/ from the dialect from where I live… most Germans would not understand much of this – let alone someone having learned the German in school.

And before I forget this: No, Alex, I will not do this. Writing in another language than English is not allowed in the forum… too bad: You will not get the opportunity to pinpoint my location any further.

@StrayGuitarist I am pretty sure in America there are also many "Dialects" that even Americans do not "understand"...Hihihi.....
