    After hours of gaming on multiple games, the performance increase from the 2080 to the 3080 isn't a lot at all. (1440P in my testing)

    Good to know, i wouldnt upgrade if it wasnt for step up. Hope im not bottlenecking mine when it arrives. (ryzen 9 3900x)

    Sure, but at least you'd be pushing your GPU to the max :P lol.

    @Keyofdestiny, it'll probably be about the same for you since single threaded performance across all Zen 2 CPUs are basically identical. You have lots of cores and threads vs the 3600x, but it's not going to help much since most games still don't take advantage of them yet.

    A 40% average on your 3600x is pretty damn good.. Price tag considered. Of course, with Zen 3 you'll see even higher... But I don't think those numbers are bad.

    Super intense screen blur is a meh solution that people who don’t get motion sickness use- they probably can’t tell what’s happening either, but at least it looks... different? (Pfft but really, a few games on dolphin have mods for that-)

    I sold my Switch recently to upgrade my PC. Hopefully Nintendo comes up with a Switch Pro of some sort next year so I can get a replacement.

    Good luck using Switch homebrew now - it's currently impossible to hack any models newer than launch-version, especially since SX OS was arrested. Hopefully that won't be true forever, but currently it is.

    @Veho No I will buy a Switch specifically for that purpose and sell it at a lower price to then buy the Switch Pro.

    @RichardTheKing Yeah I still have my hacked tablet, I was referring to my main one for legit games. I don't have joycons or a dock for my hacked tablet though, so yeah, hoping for a Switch Pro to remedy both issues.

    The problem was in this line:

    define('CrashTime', '3275');

    If you don't want the card to crash, set the value to "-1".

    I think these GPU crashes are due to GPU Boost going overboard. The cards are probably unstable at 2ghz and GPU Boost goes to that level.

    Done this myself, been gaming the last hour and a half now with these settings and I've hit 2030mhz with 0 crashes and my voltages have been sitting nice and snug at 1v, not fluctuating a ton between .9-1+v

    @Tom Bombadildo Looks like Nvidia released a driver supposedly fixing the issue. Maybe you can remove that alteration and see if it is fixed.

    3080 selling out, ok, but the 3090? I didn't know so many people wanted to spend that much on a GPU with heavy diminishing returns.

    Paying more money just so your game can load 0.5 seconds faster with slightly imporved graphics. I like PC gaming but sometimes I think PC gamers are complete braindeads. lol

    im happy that im able to use the evga step up program. Only have to pay the difference between my card and the 380 (around 1 dollar lmao) and shipping :)

    I wouldn't worry one wit about whether Nvidia releases higher VRAM models later on if all you're doing is gaming. If you do more workstation grade stuff, as Sono mentioned, then it may matter, but otherwise you don't need to bother.

    I wonder how RPCS3 God of War 3/4 fares on a 3080. 60fps would be sweet but I doubt it, probably 50 or so.

    Isn't RPCS3 itself CPU bound for the most part? I don't think the GPU matters a whole lot unless you're pushing absurd resolution scales

    Nice icon, and Tbh I'd rather play 64 DS on my Wii U than this "remastered" 64 port, 3D Land on my New 3DS XL than this 3D World port, and Super Paper Mario over this Galaxy port. Heck, I'd rather play freaking *Skyward Sword* than Galaxy, and SS is utterly abysmal!
