... are ever going to make me think any better of him. Anyone can do “great” things and be absolute garbage and Hitler is one of the worst

Hitler was a very disturbed man. He needed Jesus, just like we all do, but his pride became his downfall.

Of course, but instead of that he committed genocide in order to rid Germany of those nasty unpure ethnicities

not just his own downfall though, but the downfall of millions . . . if it had been just his own he would have almost been harmless x3

I do not get why people in the last few years unironically say that "HITLER WAS RIGHT HURR DURR." But then again, evil wouldn't be petty if the moral rationale wasn't meant to be understood.

The fact that people can ignore the terrible things that totalitarians have done throughout history to the innocent and tell you with a straight face that their "achievements" were worth the means used to meet those ends baffles me because school, church, communities, hell, culture in general growing up in the US, last I checked, has painted Hitler as actual pure evil.

Obviously, there's been a failure in at least some of, if not all, those societal structures in teaching people who insinuate this BS right from wrong.

if you are naive enough, you may be tempted to see him as a good alternative to even the mess today . . . but he isn't x3
