It was pretty good, liked it more than I honestly expected. It almost equaled Detective Pikachu despite me being a huge Pokemon fan and not at all a Sonic fan, it brought the same sort of magic. Have you seen Detective Pikachu though?

I'm also a huge Jim Carrey fan and he did great, but that's not what made the movie special to me, that was just a bonus.

@The Real Jdbye I honestly have little knowledge about Sonic so I don't know if Jim Carrey did a very good representation of Eggman but he was a fun character. I thought Detective Pikachu was pretty good too, a little too childish for my liking but Pokemon is really a kids property. I wish we could get a mature take on it with a PG13 rating but also with the fun nature of course.

Eggman didn't have much personality in the earlier Sonic games, but from what I've seen of the Sonic X cartoon, Jim Carrey was pretty much spot on.
