PS: Watching old 00's. 90's. 80's. and even 50's music videos feels like a whole new level or purity!

I really miss playing with magnets and getting cool colors, then hitting that deguass button. Fun times. Congrats on finding one! Wish I had kept mine.

I've heard some modern games look surprisingly good on them. Might have been Digital Foundry that played Control on it, looked pretty nice. wasn't widescreen though :/

Yes, I've heard the same too. Now I don't know if I should get an AV to VGA signal converter. Kinda want to play Wii on this monitor instead of my Sony Trinitron.

BTW: There's a SONY CRT with HDMI input. Like... if you want an old "monitor" with Widescreen, hunt down that Sony Trini CRT.

Thanks! I'll keep an eye out.

After looking that up, my dad had a sony tv like that! It was huge, like 3 feet deep lol. It was 720p and I played a ton of gamecube on that thing! Even the wii & x360 looked real good on it.

Regardless of image quality, I'm so glad screens have gotten thinner and lighter. I still remember trying to haul that big ass tv with him, had to get 3 other people to help.

I agree, TV's are getting better and better. Unfortunately, playing old game consoles (without signal converters) doesn't look as good as if you were using a CRT.

Good CRT's are counted with the fingers of one hand, and trying to find one of good quality is kind of a hassle, but they're worth it for retro gaming.

My fascination for CRT's are not for gaming, but for learning to fix them, which is why I got the LANIX CRT Monitor, because I wanted to see if I was able to fix it, and while it had a little bit of maintenance from my part, playing Retroarch on this CRT looks amazingly good than playing Retroarch on an LCD Flat screen.
