There's an app that lets you wirelessly stream PC VR games as opposed to the tether with Oculus Link. The app is called Remote Desktop and apparently it's amazing and the latency can be as low as 25ms with a decent 5ghz router. This is supposedly a similar latency if not LOWER than that via Oculus Link.
Virtual Desktop. Have to buy the app, and then sideload the SteamVR portion via SideQuest. Amazing setup. Looks better than Link and runs almost as well. Played some Pavlov and Doom VFR. Almost regret my Link purchase.
That's the one!! I've just tried it with Google Earth (free on Steam) and what the fuck? It genuinely looks like it's running natively on the Quest? Can't see any kind of compression at all and I can't detect any lag. Virtual Desktop reports latency between 21-35ms which seems pretty good too. Great stuff!
