What's all this talk about lemmings? Out of the loop here.
Lemmings (since 2nd September 2019) are young people like Quote from @Sono:
Don't even get me started... they are so annoying. They laugh in your face while holding an expensive iPhone with Bacefook or Instantgramm open.
I hope by "Lemmings" you meant those annoying "millenials" who scavange the streets before and after school hours
Oh, never experienced that. But I think I get the gist of it, thanks. :)
And I also learned something new! Never heard the term lemmings used like that before. I had no idea, haha...
I just thought it funny, it reminded me of a Duck Tales episode I once watched about lemmings stealing cheese. ^_^
I was going to write ask alexander1970 about the lemmings, but then I saw he already replied. ;p
Yeah, I remember that! I'm awfully bad at babysitting the lemmings. The poor guys always walk to their doom and I feel super guilty... °_°
There was alsos Mario vs. Donkey Kong which was a bit like that.
Oh yeah! I grew up playing Mario vs Donkey Kong on the DS, quite fun!
Seems I am old.........
I grew up with "Donkey Kong" from 1982... :-))))
You are only as old as you let yourself become, I know this guy who is 84 and he's always out working, he makes life size replicas of wagons and he never complains about being old... and then theres this one guy who's maybe even older but you wouldn't even know it, he's so energetic.
I grew up in the nineties, but the original Donkey Kong is one of my all time favourite games.
I hope I'll get a chance to play on a real Donkey Kong machine at least once in my life.
I was even dreaming about buying one for myself, but starting from 500€ upwards they are just too expensive for me just for a bit of entertainment.
I'll stick to mame emulation for my Donkey Kong fix for now. ;-)
My grandpa is a bit like this. He's 78 but he restores old motorcycles as a hobby and he's always working or on the move. Sometimes I think he's doing too much and should give himself a bit of resting time occasionally.
On the other hand, "A rolling stone gathers no moss.", that's what they say.
Or "Whoever rests gets rusty", as we say in German. ^_^
It's better than just sitting around, I think.
I'm also a bit like that, but I have to tell myself to stop when it's affecting my health.
I forget to eat and sleep when I want to get something finished.
Oh yeah, when I'm feeling pretty good and have something to work on I don't stop either
Wonderful..marvelous......you two remind me on Waldorf and Stadler..... :-))))))))
I love the muppet show :3
Haha! That's just awesome! ;-)
Thanks for that great comment, alexander1970.
Like I said, this place always cheers me up! Thanks you guys, you are great! ;)
