    Overlay the graphite substrate with a sacrificial layer of copper. May or may not work if resistance value doesn't vary. * You may need to strip or expose the adhesive coating to get good conductivity.

    I don't own a Nintendo Switch nor can I change the situation you guys are experiencing. All I present is a possible workaround solution that may or may not work for those tired of continually buying replacement Joy-Cons or analogy sticks.

    Another thing to add: this probably won't fix Joy-Cons already affected by drift. Add the copper tape as preventative measure before the graphite pad is worn or scratched.
