Depends on your dialect. I pronounce it as s-(ts)-ent (which is really difficult for native speakers most likely, but natural to me).
I have never even considered a silent S. Is that a thing in America or something? It's always been like, sent, for me.

I wouldn't be surprised if my way of saying "s-ts-ent" is actually my own dialect, and thus invalid. It would make sense for me to read it that way. Very difficult to pronounce, but it's very easy if you manage.
