yes
now i am moving the files back in the sd card i'll let you know once i have them back what happens
Format it as FAT32 32kb clusters after the test, then start copying your data to it. Insert the sd card back into the system, and see if it behaves the same as it did before.
Also, see if you can boot into the recovery mode with the button combo "A+R+L+Up(DPad)".

it booted in the home menu, now it's working like before this problem happened
Weird, 'cause all i suggested is testing & reformatting the sd card.. I would highly recommend backing up all your saves with Checkpoint just in case.
Also, you have to set up ctrnand Luma3DS, so it'd boot into the home menu if you don't have the sd card inserted. You can do this easily just by updating Luma3DS in Universal-Updater. Reboot the system after doing it. :)

it was most likely a software issue, since the luma menu while holding start on boot was showing up. i had plenty hardware issues while repairing 2 3ds systems from a friend and there is no way it would have showed up anything unless luma could override the hardware checks if something isnt connected properly. honestly those systems weren't modded, so i cant really tell, but i'm pretty sure. maybe other models have differences for example if the camera is unplugged i believe only old 3ds systems refuse to boot and new 3ds ones dont. idk, i would always guess its something software related (or at least sd card related) if luma menu on boot is somehow showing up :P
