i know what you're talking about.View attachment 330400
the plugin method bypasses the 10 mod limit, but only works for Ver: 1.1.14.534571

and yea, ccc file method will work, but to dump the whole game to get just one file is too much of a hassle. the old method still works for AE. just saying.
it took me 5 minutes just to dump that one file... using the right tool, and you dont have to, is a standard .txt file

You can't just use the Aoc file, some mods won't work without being placed in the Skyrim Ini.
went to follow this thread trying to figure out a few mods that were not loading on this new update to be greeted with half my mods gone doing the single AOC way.

no you need the ini still.

and yet this is exactly what I do. there is nothing special about the skyrim.ini that will suddenly make them work. the AOC loads both the ESP and the BSA
Youre both correct actually, i strugled A LOT when the update came so i find that some filed are actually not compatible with the method of using the ccc file simply cuz that file extention seems to not be recognized by it, and example are the files that are not mods but changed like better lightning and change of the menu UI, while other mods are better suited working on the ccc file, you dont need to use one if you dont use the kond of mod of the other, There are tree mods that doesnt work on the ini but kinda works on ccc

the .ccc file is meant for all the plugin file formats meaning esp/esl/esm. the only actual issue I've seen is loading mods that have extra mesh or texture file (example Cheatroom - Textures.bsa) but the work around is to repack them into 1 bsa which I tested with cheatroom before suggesting. some people also seem to be afraid to rename the files to match each other which will also cause issues. I personally havn't had any issues actually getting mods to load but there are so many ways people could be trying to do this such as dlc unlockers, starting with blank text files, wrongly formatted files, etc which could mess with the end results instead of having just dumped it directly from the game and edited it only with notepad++. the only mods you need to put in skyrim.ini are the ones that don't have an esp/esl/esm such as Skyui. load order of course is still a thing in .ccc

Ok so I need help. I update and cheat room doesn’t work how do i obtain the CCC file to make cheatroom work. I have both physical and eshop versions of Skyrim Anniversary Edition.

I have the following mods which I used the tool to create the INI file.

Cheat Room

dD - Enhanced Blood - works fine with new update

Diverse Dragons Collection

ELFXEnhancer

Light Eminting Magika Sabers

SMIM-SE

Beautiful Nature

Enhanced Blood Textures

Enhanced Lights and FX SMIM

Lockpick Pro - which seems to work

for cheatroom (idk about the others mods) you will need to extract the 3 bsa files and combine them into one in order for it to work. it MIGHT still work using the old skyrim.ini method but no reason to even use that and be limited anymore. as for the .ccc file use DBI to dump the .ccc file from the addon. you can see far more information in the discord https://discord.gg/FhhfvVj
