Animator for Metro series passes away while fighting for Ukraine's independence

asdasddasasdasd.png

Andrii Korzinkin, a senior animator for developer 4A Games who has worked on the Metro series, has passed away. Korzinkin had worked for the Ukrainian company on Metro Exodus doing animations and motion capture, and prior to that, had worked on various cartoon animations with studio Pixelation. The news of his passing away was announced by Leonid Stepanov, a former coworker from 4A, who now works for Remedy Entertainment. According to him, Andrii Korzinkin had died in the midst of a combat mission against Russia, fighting for Ukrainian independence.

Other former developers at 4A Games and games industry members that had known Korzinkin shared their memories of him:

He constantly faced new challenges and tried to overcome them. Andrii worked on himself and his skill to become better as an animator, inspiring people around him

He was a cool person, good man with a sense of humor, and an animator of the highest class, which in Ukraine can be counted on the fingers. Oh, what kind of things he created! And his oblique goal kick in table football was impossible to catch. He would still create and create

Russian occupiers vote to annex land that doesn't belong to them. Shocker.

Too bad they don't fully control any of the four provinces they've declared annexed any more, and they're losing more ground by the day. Putin's getting his ass handed to him by a much smaller military.
That makes me laugh, when are you going to leave the USA and give it back to the Native American Indians? ALL land changes hands all the time, just look at some old maps from the last 1000 years up until the present day and see what borders have changed and how countries have been renamed. Even in my own lifetime there has been many border changes and countries being renamed. This is nothing new and will always be a thing as long as humans walk the earth.

What a dumbass excuse for imperialism. Would you be making the same excuse for the US if we had annexed Afghanistan and Iraq? I very much doubt it.

This ain't the middle ages, nobody with half a brain is going to worship dictators who are wannabe-conquerors any more. Sooner or later, Putin will get exactly what he deserves for bringing so much suffering to both Ukraine and Russia.

Obviously not you amoral hypocrite, I just mentioned Iraq and Afghanistan. I'm universally anti-imperialist, while you seem to be conditionally pro-imperialist as long as it's daddy Putin doing the invading. Go deepthroat his boot elsewhere, it's fucking disgusting.

The Roman/British/Mongolian/Ottoman.....etc, Empires didn't become empires because people back in the day were lazy, No they decided to get off their arses and go and explore and conquer other countries. The USA didn't become the USA because the Native Americans decided to invite foreigners to their country (so they could steal it and kill them) - no your ancestors decided that what belonged to these Indians should now be theirs. People throughout the entire history of the world have been going to other countries, fighting and taking stuff - this is human nature. You should just learn to accept that humans are programmed this way, it's in our DNA. If you don't like that - tough luck for you because it will never change in your lifetime so you either learn to accept that as a fact of life or you go about being pissed off for the rest of your days on this earth. The choice is yours - suck it up.

These three things in life are guaranteed: War, Taxes, Death! You will also have winners and losers, don't believe the hype when your teachers told you that it's "All about taking part", it's all about winning. As for Russia, they aren't going anywhere and unless the USA taxpayer wants to keep sending billions of dollars to some foreign country that was never a NATO member, or an ally instead of using that money for yourselves, you'll be doing that for a long time to come and Russia will still be there and the Ukraine land that is lost, is now lost a very long time because it now belongs to Russia.

USA - so far sent $50 billion tax payers dollars to Ukraine, a non NATO member!
USA - sent $1 billion tax dollars to Florida for the aftermath of Hurrican IAN.

Your corrupt Biden president has been taking back handers from Ukraine for a while as well, but still come November I am pretty sure impeachment is on the cards.

Yes, throughout history. This is the modern world, and oligarchs don't just get to seize whichever countries they feel like on a whim any more. There are consequences for such actions.

Fine with me, it's obvious to anybody who's been paying attention over these last several months that Putin is the biggest loser in all of this. Before the invasion, most of the world was willing to believe Russia's military could rival that of the US, and now everybody knows it can't even rival Ukraine's. They're holding on to the annexed regions by their fingernails, and the last Russian occupier will be dead or forced out before winter's end. Best case scenario for Putin is blowing his own brains out from inside a bunker like his role model Hitler.

And yet they do, always have done and always will do. Actually in the long run for Russia, they will have more land, and therefore more resources so for them the short term losses are not a big deal compared to the long term gains.

In 10-20-30 years time China will be the biggest dog with the biggest bark and the middle east will be more advanced and doing deals with Russia and China etc, the Eastern European countries still sympathise with Russia and will trade with them.

USA days of being the worlds no1 super power and bully are coming to an end. You can have as many sanctions as you want, but your currency has already been devalued by the printing of trillions of dollars. When others start trading using a different currency it will be even more devalued. When you start making everyone drive electric vehicles your economy will grind to a screetching halt. In the meantime China will still be building power stations that can run on fossil fuels, so your "green agenda" will be a waste and only hurt yourselves. If you've managed to stop making enemies by that point China might supply you with some stuff, but in the future USA will be in 2nd place - and it's all your own fault.

The biggest loser is Europe, especially Germany. This entire thing is going to have been a huge waste with long term ramifications which was only supported by the US and its flunkies, not anywhere close to the entire world.

I dont think being a reformist neocon suits you, but they're your the government and media's beliefs.

China's goal is owning Russia economically, so Putin's failures in Ukraine and in collapsing the Russian economy help further that goal.

LMAO how fucking stupid are you? Not that this has anything to do with the topic at hand, but China manufacturers more solar panels and batteries for electric vehicles than the US by a wide margin. Fossil fuels are finite, which is why every investor worth their salt diversified into green technologies ages ago. Chinese investors very much included, hell they beat most Americans to the punch in that regard.

China has mineral rights in most of the countries that have the raw minerals for the solar panels and batteries and all the minelals that are used in electric cars. You can try and brush this all away and ignore it - but soon you're gonna be playing second fiddle to the east. You hey day is over, you just haven't realised that yet. In the meantime Russia will still have that Ukraine land (which is now part of Russia). Suck it up and get used to it because that's how things are now.

Are you really so naive to believe Putin would've stopped with Ukraine if he had been allowed to just roll right over their military? Regardless, the US' "flunkies" very much include most European nations who are in fact not that naive.

Neocons are on Putin's side here, they love them some strongmen dictators regardless of how many war crimes they might commit.

So you...agree with me then. Rare moment of self-realization in how stupid you were sounding with the whole "China will emasculate the US with their fossil fuels" spiel, I'll take it.

In the meantime Russia will still have that Ukraine land (which is now part of Russia).
Yet they don't have control of any of the provinces they've claimed to have "annexed," and no other nation has acknowledged Russia's claim to the land as legitimate. Hilarious.

Russia doesn't care what the west think, they are in control of Ukraine land now - and it doesn't matter what you think about that, because that's just the way it is. You can bitch about that all you want but at the end of the day, they control that land now and it won't be returned. You get all your info from western MSM which is biased and wrong most of the time, and pushes it's own narrative and propoganda. The reality is that the MSM is full of crap and you shouldn't believe a word of what they come up with.

But they aren't...even Putin acknowledges they don't control the land they've declared "annexed." Get your fuckin' facts straight before spouting off, bud.
You can always tell when a lefty starts swearing and usually calling people names that they have run out of crap to spout.

You can post 1000 posts on this forum and then another 100,000,000 posts and Russia will still have that land that it's taken from Ukraine, whether you like it or not. Best get used to that bud as that's the way it is now.

Let's be fair, some ppl vote for it themself to join Russia. Telegram and other media have hours long videos without editing where simple ppl happy with it. Ukraine politics start this shit themself and not want solve it.
If Russia do shit like that, same situation would happen again on their side. Russians not so happy that their ppl involved in this, but they know where it was going. West\USA politic always show Russia as bad: movie\games\news. And this bubble only increasing, even now.
Nobody right, but you cant say it's only Russia fault in this.
And no, they not start it, even USA acknowledged that they broke USSR and would continues their methods even now.
Lets hope we would not see a real war with nuclear weapons...

The hell I can't. They invaded Ukraine unprovoked and have done almost nothing but target civilians from the beginning. To pretend Putin cares about the will of the people in Ukraine is absolutely laughable when he doesn't even care about the will of the people in his own country, let alone hold legitimate elections there.

For that matter, many drafted Russians are complaining that they aren't receiving pay or even food. They're literally just treated as cannon fodder by the Kremlin. It's no wonder 800,000+ Russians have fled the country in the wake of the invasion.

Lets hope we would not see a real war with nuclear weapons...
The Kremlin has been making empty threats about chemical/nuclear weapons use since before the invasion even began. It won't happen because that would give the US military a reason to get involved directly, and Putin's forces would be squashed like bugs inside of a week. We know he's sadistic, but I don't believe he's that stupid.
