I also have ports of NitroSwan & NGPDS (plus a couple of arcade emulators).
90% of the code is exactly the same now. Cpu, video and other chips share the same repositorys between the DS & GBA so fixes to the DS are transferred to the GBA by just updating the git sub module.
Sorry, I'm new to all this. Could you kindly tell me how to get these emulators set up on my GBA. I'm especially keen to try WonderSwan games on the GBA!

The NeoGeoPocket and WonderSwan emulators are not released yet, partly because there are no builders for them yet.
I might be able to put together one for Mac OS but I don't think that is enough since most people use Windows.

MacOS releases are always greatly appreciated by some, eg. me, and the source code might encourage someone to port to Windows. The header description sounds simple enough anyway, could probably even do it with a cross-platform script.

Hi @FluBBa,

I've made a quick cross-platform Python 3 command line builder for Wasabi. I basically used the same code from the others I have built for all the old emulators you made years ago:
https://github.com/patters-syno/gba-emu-compilation-builders

I've tested it works fine to build a compilation with multiple Supervision ROMs.

My feedback on Wasabi - it's a bit odd that you have to explicitly load a game. If you load the emulator it doesn't just start the first ROM in the ROM list like the old days. But I see that you're consolidating with DS code so I guess that's the style of UI that you've used there.

I did manage to compile your latest Wonderswan emulator for the GBA a few months ago, but it seemed you had to add the game rom and BIOS at compilation time.

It's very little effort for me to make builders for your other relaunched emulators, even with BIOS ROM selection etc., because it's all just patterns I've already coded for. Let me know.

Nice work, will try this out when I get the chance. How does it run speed-wise?

@FluBBa - Thanks for the change. It exits ok for me on my EZ-Flash IV cart :toot:

I notice that it seems to fail to resume from sleep though.
Another thing I noticed is that it has a blank GBA header with no four character ID (at offset 0x0AC). On EZ-Flash IV for instance you need a header ID so you can add it to the whitelist to prevent the flashcart firmware's exit & sleep patcher from altering the ROM. I added a header myself to avoid this problem.
