I tryed hard scummvm on RA (despite my love forRA), and it's not an official build, the Wii one (official) trought vWii, is a WAAAAY better.
And for this one I would a direct from WiiU menu version, even if cores from retroarch, on WiiU menu, will be efective soon, for sure....or not
Enjoyed scummvm on the vWii side for the reason that you can actually play point and click adventure games by... pointing at the screen and clicking the wiimote. It's sad the Wii didn't have official ports of those classic PC point and clicks.

Yep it's very pleasing to playing on couch with some of those slow pacing games retina friendly, with just a light wiimote sometimes not so precise

The RPX can be found here:
https://apps.fortheusers.org/wiiu/WiiU-Shell

As for the .tex files, I could make them.
Actually, let me just put everything together in a single zip for easy conversion.

Download the attached zip, it should have everything in it.

Yeah that's the one we're talking about :P
WUHB Packager, but it does require wut/wut-tools
Thanks for your post, I was able to compile it with all of the images you posted. It would be great to have one for The App Store and for USB Hide. Maybe @Xpl0itU has some images he can post?

Finally after long time I can run out of region discs like Fatal Frame without much trouble thank you. I removed Haxchi and jumped to aroma. I almost used the unsafe method of region hax.

Would it somehow be possible to place your Wii U games on the SD Card, like in Loadiine, only that it would then show up in the home menu, like with the homebrew apps?

Problem with games that have DLC on Aroma

Hey guys, so I just installed Aroma in my Japanese Wii U console. I found a problem, games that have DLC won't launch and show an error message (see photo attached).

It works just fine after I delete the DLC. Also I already tried launching the game from Tiramisu and it's working just fine with DLC. But as you know it will have the Japanese language on it.

Anybody has encounter the same problem as me. If so have you found any solution?

Thanks in advance

hmm,works here,but i'm on a european wiiu,do you have sigpatches?
Can you elaborate about sigpatches?

There is a sign patcher in the tiramisu homebrew launcher. And I've tried launching the signpatcher then install the dlc using WUP installer. The game and dlc is installed and can be run on tiramisu. But it won't run on Aroma

There is no sign patcher homebrew app in the Aroma. I might be wrong though.

Could you try to explain how you install your games and dlc, then play it on Aroma. I might have missed something

Hey, turns out you're correct about the sigpatches. I just need to copy my sigpatches .RPX file from Tiramisu's setup folder into Aroma's.

Thank you so much

Since I changed my system fom Haxchi to Aroma, Retroarch doesn't start anymore. The system hangs at the boot screen showing retroarch.rpx. I tried older versions like 1.9.14, no success either. Since other homebrew works, I can assume that Aroma should work fine on my system.
Any ideas what I can do?

From what I've gathered, Retroarch currently doesn't work with Aroma due to issues with the special part of the Wii U memory that is used by both of them. It does still run in Tiramisu. If you switched to Aroma from Haxchi, you should also add Tiramisu, it's pretty easy to switch between the two by holding X while selecting the Health & Safety Information app from the quick launch menu on the gamepad when you power on the console, although slightly quirky (I have to restart again every time because I get a error message about the environment loader being run twice, but after restarting it boots into whichever mod I chose, either Tiramisu or Aroma). I'm sure it will get fixed down the line but this is best option for now, for any apps that aren't working in Aroma yet.

Ask the developer of Retroarch to create a retroarch.wuhb file for Aroma.

In the FTPiiU plugin, why is the SD card located at fs/vol/external01 and not sd?

hmm, just tested zombie u,from hdd, when press home button on the gamepad, the wiiu menu appears on both tv and gamepad, but hangs there on latest beta.
Tryed with MK8,and that game returns fine,so seems the bug is still there Maschell.
European wiiu with 5.5.5 and updated aroma to 0.5
Call Of Duty Black Ops II worked also fine.
