Misc my facebook account has been hacked and i can't do anything

ok so i woke up today to see my facebook account was hacked and the hacker changed the email of my account now i cant enter i have their email but i dont know if i can do anything i have alot of shit in that profile well maybe it doesnt exist anymore it did say something like removing the email and they added their own email and fucking number

I say spam bomb there ass. But contact FB and hopefully you can fix it. Fyi most likely someone you know BTW. Especially if they have been on your phone or PC can get your email and password easily that way.

That is why I don't let people on my phone or PC. Really easy for someone to get info. All I can say good luck. I had this happen to me Yahoo mail but I got it fixed and even found the a hole who did it. Yes I payed them back hard.

but i didn't give anyone my phone i woke up seeing my account was breached in 1am i was sleeping god damnit

Possible a hacker but unless you have something really good on Facebook they won't bother. VPN would explain location if someone you know. I know this is paronoya but think Girl friend or family or friends who could get into phone or PC and recover your account info. I hope I am wrong but really think I am not wrong. Sorry.

ok so the guy took over the account and removed my email from facebook
and now theres some other email and a phone number and i didnt use 2fa

It says on the page:

Note: If the email associated with your Facebook account has changed, you can reverse this. When an email is changed, we send a message to the previous email account with a special link. You can click this link to reverse the email change and secure your account.

I asked about passwords and 2FA because if you are reusing the same password, that's very likely why you were hacked.

Look at sites like:
https://haveibeenpwned.com/

If you aren't reusing passwords, that could suggest some other potential problem like a keylogger.

Was it a ‘weak’ password? Have you tried running a malware scan on the systems you use? E.g. malwarebytes (free).

previous email account if you didn't receive that email something is wrong.
Please check it ASAP maybe your email is compromised as well.

Unless you can reverse by email the change to another email you may have no option but to call FB. I really don't think you can thou.
