I hope no live human being is going to be in it. I dont liked Sonic the hedgehog with a live human being at all. Surely, Sonic looks great in CGI but with human being is kinda annoying,, really.

As a fellow rendering artist, I love the lighting and the atmosphere here.
Also, like I said, I'm still not hoping for anything special or anything perfect. But, until I see some clips,
I might be impressed.

People are going to make Mario a controversial thing like Sonic, and have the designers work months to meet the fans' needs.

It looks quite decent from the still image. If they nail the animation, i wouldn't mind the save the princess story we all know about.. Though if it'd much better, if it is anything different..
