it'll be a nice, safe, standard story. nothing especially good or noteable, but not overly offensive. a "eh, it was fine" movie. it won't be a wreck-it-ralph, but it also won't be a pixels.

I'll watch its last week in theaters and then never again lol.

The toads actually look fine, but why does mario look like he's in a mascot suit? i'm hoping this movie tries to do some unique stuff, but knowing nintendo it'll probably be a very safe traditional mario story.... featuring chris pratt

This… actually looks pretty good. At least from a design standpoint. Looking at the full picture, there’s a bunch of small Easter eggs sprinkled in that I can appreciate. Don’t have high hopes for the actual movie, but it’ll at least be nice to look at.
