Looking to revisit some classic PlayStation 2 favorites with a new spin? You can, now that RetroAchievements has just added support for PS2 titles. Over 80 games now have custom achievement sets, with notable additions including Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, Dragon Quest VIII, Castlevania: Curse of Darkness, SSX3, and more. If you make to make use of the RetroAchievements system, you'll need to use PCSX2 as your emulator, and be on Windows 10 or higher. You can see the full supported list below, with more games on the way soon.

This rollout has legitimately been awesome so far. Been going hard at these PS2 achievements and zero bugs so far. Also really smooth implementation in PCSX2.

Happy to see RA get some more recognition. I only made 1 set for the community. but, I very much recommend it to anyone.
Really appreciate everyone doing sets so thank you very much for your time!

U gotta be careful though since "RA" = RetroArch and RetroAchievements at the same time. :D

Never cared for trophies/achievements so I'd hid the notifications whenever possible, but this is definitely cool.

Yay, finally!
RetroAchievements is the best thing to happen to Retro games since sliced bread.. or something.

Which set did you make? I've also made one :)

Cool for the people who like such things but for me trophies/achievements are the worst thing to ever happen to games.
It feels so shallow and superficial to "win" these meaningless rewards. It's just bragging rights for those who care.

The real reward is enjoying the game and finishing the story/arcade mode.

I don't care for achievements, i used to, but not anymore (waste of time).. Still doesn't change the fact that i respect the effort that's going into making this, for folks who're into achievements..

Hurrah, arbitrary system achievements that unlock nothing! If it's not obvious, I have never understood what the point of these kinds of achievements are. I mean kudos for getting old games such achievements when they never had any to begin with, but that still doesn't change how pointless I've always viewed these as.

That's cool. Hoping to see a set for:
London Racer: Police Madness on PS2.

Awesome game!!

Also, weren't you the one developing for classic NES series Donkey Kong on GBA?

Nice!! That's a respectable set!
I did the one for Mystical Ninja 64 :)

I saw that you need to re-master Super Mario 64 :P I mastered it, and then was on my way to master the bonus set - but then they put a lot of those bonus achievements into the regular one and I took a break. I'm just 4 cheevs away from mastering it, again.
