Hi,

In my country, I am not able to find a kit where I would get all bits in one ..
Y 0.6mm / Y 1.5mm / Y 2.0mm/ Y 2.5mm/ Y 3.0mm [triwing bits]

Could you please help me with 2 questions:
a) which bit is needed to open nintendo console?
b) which bit is needed to open the joycons?

PS:I searched a lot but couldnt get the answer .. hence I am asking here .. please help me ..

Regards
Rahul

Officially both the joycon and the console can be opened with a 1.5mm Y00 triwing driver.
The only triwing I had was a 0.6 mm triwing bit and even with that one I could open my joycon without any problem.
It probably depends on the shape of the head of the driver. Some are flat and some are pointy.
My 0.6mm triwing bit came with a iphone5 battery replacement kit. The iphone5 has a triwing too somewhere.

Local phone repair shops sometimes sell these tools too.

If you are really into a MacGuyver style solutions :
use a paperclipget an old driver, cut off the head and with a diamond file grind the triwing shape.
I had to do that a long time ago when I also couldn't get my hands on a triwing bit.
If you're really desperate, take a normal minus driver about the size of the screw and grind of half of the tip.
Wrap some vinyl tape around the drive so that is almost perfectly fits the shaft of the joycon.
This will make sure it will not slip out of the screw when you twist it.

I personally use my 3.0 mm on all, but my screw driver is very sharp so fits well on the 1.5 mm of the switch and joycons. A buddy have a 3.0 mm but the point is flat so have to get a 1.5 for the switch.

I get a kit with sort of screw drivers on amazon they come for free on a joycon stick replacementk kit

Or if @rahulkalra9 got the money. An Ifixit kit. They're so good!
