Hi there, I understand that on the loose has quite the undesirable button layout. Wouldn't it be possible to create a custom plugin that remembers the last button press (such as o) and when you move the right vita analog stick, it both moves the character in that direction as well as simultaneously pressing the last button? I understand this isn't the greatest solution for new gadget mechanics, but this combined with basic jumping and camera remap would make this on the ps Vita and ps tv much more in line with the original PS1 version. Revita sadly doesn't allow either remembering button presses or remaping an analog stick to another analog stick.

Could anyone either help me with this or direct me to a resource where I could try and create a plugin with no experience?

Undesirable...if your problem is that On the Loose (WHICH IS A PSP GAME) doesn't have the same control scheme as the PS1 version then why don't you play the PS1 version on the Vita?
