Original project page with images (it is what it sounds like. :) ).

http://cyxdown.free.fr/reminiscence/

The game data files (DOS, PC-CD, Amiga, Macintosh) are required.

The executable also supports the Amiga protracker music and SegaCD speech files.
English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Japanese languages are supported.

Flashback was a nice game...

I am not very familiar with the REminescence engine.
Does this play the vector graphics "movie" intro in Full HD?
I'm just curious.

Would it be possible to implement video configuration or make full screen? Is it complicated or would it affect performance? I wish you could implement it and make more ports of other old games maybe rick dangerous

Hi,

I guess this thread should be moved to the new "Emulation, Homebrew & Software Projects" section.
Also, i'm not sure if i'm able to change the thread tag ? (would be better with a release tag i guess).

I don't see any updates, but might not be too hard to rebuild.
If you're just wanting to play Flashback and aren't fussed how, the official Switch release of the game would work fine.

The thing is that release is like 500mb whereas REMiniscence is only 40mb. I tried building it myself but as always with these things I end up running into endless issues with dependency resolution.

I got as far as being able to run cmake which for some strange reason generated visual studio project files, and when I try to build with visual studio I get 10+ compiler errors.
