Too bad this project is locked behind a Discord, I hate how you have to download a third party chat software to do what a Github link does properly.

I think it´s great that old games get this much love.
I wish people would Wiimake old games (like Duck Hunt via Wiimote), e.g. 007 The World Is Not Enough with Wiimote controls (the different angles of each weapon already exist).

What the hell is crowd control?? We got security people in the game now?

But really.... What is it??
Crowd control is a plugin for Twitch that lets viewers spend fictional currency you can only earn by watching to fuck with the streamer in game. One of my best friends is a vtuber who regularly gets goofy shit, like being frozen during boss fights, or losing her sword, and so on. It's really funny stuff.

If i remember correctly there was a Wii U VC version of Duckhunt that could be controlled with Wiimote .....

Really really really hoping that Goldeneye on Switch online will allow the right stick to function as a proper camera control (gyro would be amazing too, but I'm not holding my breath there). Seems unlikely that it will happen, but as mentioned some of these old games have received some extra love when they were added to virtual console services, Duck Hunt with Wiimote controls being a great example, likewise for Mario Advance 4 having all the e-card levels included on the Wii U, or just games that never got localized or even properly released back in the day (Star Fox 2) appearing in these services. Its possible that such an issue could be addressed, and I'm really hoping it will, but I could absolutely see nothing more being done for the Switch release (beyond the ability to play over the internet like any other multiplayer N64 game in the service).

Why wouldn´t it? Doesn´t it even work like that on emulators? Or do you have to - as I did - activate the two controller controls (which feel great with 2 Nunchuks btw).

At least in 007 TWINE, the 2nd stick works with analogue inputs.

I mean I expect it to be a straight conversion where C-up, C-left, C-down, and C-right are mapped to a direct Up on the right stick, left down, and right respectively, not unlike how it feels to play Mario 64 DS on a 3DS using the circlepad to move. And sure that is OK, but that's not proper full camera control. Maybe they'll allow for that option that allowed players to use 2 N64 controllers to play the game and map the second controller's joystick to the right stick on a single controller, but I'm not expecting it. I think it's gonna be a very quick conversion and placed into the service. Heck, I think people heard that announcement that it will have online play and are thinking that means like lobbies with random match-making and all that, when all it's gonna mean is that you can play with any of your registered friends that happens to be playing the game at the same time and that's it, like any other multiplayer game already in the Switch Online classic system services.

The way I played shooters on N64: C up = walk forward
You can do this Goldeneye as well. Are you sure the game code does not allow analogue input for both walking and aiming at the same time with just one controller? As I said, TWINE does.

Not natively, it wasn't programmed for that. Any emulator can easily rectify it, but with Nintendo I'm not banking on it. But who knows, we'll see.

Do I have to rebuild the oot.otr file, every time I update the thing? Or do I just need to replace the soh.exe? 🤔

Also, is it possible to make the control scheme a bit more like the WII virtual console?
From what I've read, yes you have to update oot.otr with each new release of soh
