I discovered that the one hit kill code makes it impossible to spare any bosses other than saffron who basically becomes unbeatable for some reason.

it does it on base game and update, hopefully a day 1 update drops soon. This has happened with minecraft before due to an update. so hopefully fixable
Usually the joy con only game are mostly due to laziness, it should be obvious to any user if the UI can't work without a joy con due to architecture or laziness.
Hello, trying the infinite hp trick, it has happened to you that some enemies in the game do not lose life, this is not a problem, because you can continue and pass it, but if it locks you between two doors, you must kill everyone so that they open the doors, this is a problem.
