I recently gave the series a view and I have to say, I enjoyed it very much and it's certainly a love letter to Star Trek and its ideals. I was wondering if anyone else has watched it, and what your thoughts and feelings are in regards to it. Any favorite characters, story arcs, episodes?

For me, I'm a fan of Bortus and Klyden, and their intricacies along with Isaac and his fascination with the human condition. I think the twitter/reddit planet episode was my favorite so far.

i lost interest with the "facebook" episode in s1.
also it was too funny for me.
but i like the comedy in lower decks, because it's animated.
Oh man, then you missed out on a lot. Apparently the whole comedy-Trek feel of Season 1 was Fox's doing. Then trying to cash in on Seth's name. The show starts to grow in season 2 and by the time season 3 starts it's confident in that it is and becomes a true space opera.
