A recent leak saw the existence of Logitech's new gaming handheld spoiled before the company could officially announce it, but nearly a month later, Logitech is ready to officially unveil the G Cloud Handheld gaming device. Retailing for $349.99, the Android-based handheld goes all-in on game streaming: it supports GeForce Now, Xbox xCloud streaming, and Valve's Steam Link. Since it runs Android, it can also play mobile games, though Logitech is mostly refraining from that aspect in its marketing. This handheld exists as part of a collaboration with Tencent, who assisted in creating the Android UI for the system.

The Logitech G Cloud Handheld sports a 1080p IPS touchscreen, with a Snapdragon 720G inside, alongside 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 64GB of storage. Despite the claims of portable game streaming, the device lacks SIM support, so you'll need to rely on only Wi-Fi to stream. Beyond that, the handheld has a 12-hour battery life, a gyroscope, and haptics.

Logitech's device will be out on October 17th, and will retail for $349.99--the same price as a Nintendo Switch OLED. If you pre-order the system, you'll get a discount, putting it at $299.99.

Poor Logitech, your cloud gaming online will suffer huge problems similar to Google Stadia, Ouya and other online gaming services.

Anyone remember old Ouya system that use cloud gaming online before? Then this finally going to shut down in near future.

Remember never trust cloud gaming. Stick with PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo consoles for people are not fans of cloud gaming online.

I'm old fashion offline PC and console gaming that never interest cloud gaming online anymore because heard a lot of negative on cloud. ;)

Anyone heard about another cloud gaming online again is Google Stadia?

News here:

Google Stadia Is Shutting Down On January 18, 2023

https://www.gamespot.com/articles/google-stadia-is-shutting-down-on-january-18-2023/1100-6507919/

Google is pulling the plug on its cloud-gaming service next year.

Google has announced that its cloud streaming service Stadia will officially be shut down on January 18, 2023. All Stadia hardware purchases made through the Google Store will be refunded, including games and add-on content purchased from that storefront.

"A few years ago, we also launched a consumer gaming service, Stadia," Stadia VP Phil Harrison wrote in a blog post. "And while Stadia's approach to streaming games for consumers was built on a strong technology foundation, it hasn't gained the traction with users that we expected so we've made the difficult decision to begin winding down our Stadia streaming service."

Though Stadia as a gaming platform will be retired next year, Harrison added that the technology pioneered by the service will be used in other Google services such as YouTube, Google Play, and Augmented Reality projects. The company also plans to make the underlying technology available to industry partners, which "aligns with where we see the future of gaming headed" Harrison explained.

Stadia was first revealed in early 2019 at that year's GDC event, and officially launched in November that year. The streaming service had an impressive number of third-party games available, with big names such as Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Cyberpunk 2077, and Doom Eternal in its library. Google also had big plans for exclusive titles on Stadia and began investing in its own game studios, but by February 2021, it had shut down that division and announced that it would no longer develop its own games.

"The good news is that the ball is mostly in Google's court. Stadia has a strong foundation as a streaming service, and its biggest issues seem solvable," Peter Brown wrote in GameSpot's Google Stadia review. "Google needs to address the pricing structure and figure out how to make it work for customers who are trained to view streaming as a subscription service. Until it gets there, Stadia will struggle to be viewed as anything more than a costly curiosity."

In the last few years, Stadia also began to face some stiff competition. Amazon entered the cloud gaming market with Luna, and Microsoft began working on its own streaming project that leveraged its own impressive library of titles, Game Pass subscription, and cloud gaming technologies. Logitech's just-announced dedicated cloud gaming handheld system is compatible with Microsoft's Xbox Cloud Gaming.

I never trust cloud gaming online like Logitech, Google Stadia, Ouya and other services!!! I'm old fashion offline gaming on PC (GOG and Steam with cracked to play offline forever), Nintendo (Flashcards and physical cartridges of games) and PlayStation (physical disc of games).

Don't trust cloud gaming online because a lot of negative in them. What if internet broke down then cloud gaming online will stop working and unable to play them.

Old fashion offline gaming FTW (For the winner) for many years. Old fashions rules for all. ;)

When I getting older then I will switch into country like amish fashions to forget all problems. I hate all cities. I hate internet is same like for bad stalkers, hackers and other bad ways. I love country like farms means perfect for me to live in right place. I love beautiful country just what god made them. Amazing country lands for our love and stand for peace forever in many years never end. Amen! ;)
