I'm a person.
I joined this forum because it contains the only mention I have found on the internet of someone trying to access the 3G portion of a PS vita 3G, in order to gain more control over what is currently fairly useless hardwdare. That person is @leerz, and I'm trying to get in touch with him, but the rules of this forum prohibit newbies from sending personal messages, and my comment on his thread was removed for "necro-thread bumping". Which is pretty silly if you ask me since topics about retro hardware aren't likely to fall out of relevance.
But I digress. (leaned that one from black ops zombies). I'm trying to delve into the world of homebrew, handheld design, and such, in order to get rid of my phone, which i feel is one source of depression and anxiety for myself, and many others. My dream is to have a handheld device capable of both gaming, and cellular connection. My belief is that having too much power in our pockets (constant access to the internet, social media, and youtube, which all have infinite content, and algorithms designed to keep hooking you back in) isn't good for our primeape brain, and that limitations would allow us to live more in the present moment. Having the device play retro games is a way of having it still be fun, a method similar to feeding your dog medicine wrapped in ham.
