hey all what up,
so I currently own a ps1 scph 5552 pal, I installed an MM3 chip to it and so far I'm enjoying it for the most part ( think I might have to do some kind of colour mod to play ntsc as even with an RGB/scart the ntsc games are black and white , and I do get stuttering in FMV on burned games, no biggie though I just patch the games for pal video and that only leaves the fmv stutter to sort aha)

I also recently installed a picoboot to my GameCube with an sd2sp2, this got me thinking, could there be something like the picoboot and swiss made for the ps1, maybe utilising the serial or parallel port turning them into SD or usb readers with some sort of converter, and for those without the ports maybe a memory card to SD card adaptor or something?

I have no idea where I would even begin with something like this (heck I'm new to soldering aha) so I figure maybe its worth sharing the idea here who knows might get the ball rolling open the floor to people see what you guys think?
