Even though it hurts my soul to know that someone literally just asked if FORTNITE can run on a Nintendo DS, I will try to answer your question.
Jump! Super Stars and Jump! Ultimate Stars are the closest games you will find to a brawler.
Fortnite. On a DS.

I do not think you understand how a backport works. Here are the minimum specs for Fortnite:
- CPU: Core i3 2.4GHz.
- RAM: 4GB RAM.
- HDD: 16GB Free Space.
- Two ARM architecture CPUs: ARM9 clocked at 133 MHz and ARM7 clocked at 33 MHz.
- RAM: 16MB RAM.
- HDD: 256MB of internal memory, with SD card expandability to 32GB
