you can, but it won't be aroma anymore. I think you lose all of the stuff that makes aroma, aroma. I tried it once, and all wuhb and rpx disappeared from the home menu.
I am quite interested in this one, since i want to rewatch netflix on my WiiU, since i have no other way to watcy streams on my tv. Do you know if updating the certificates will affect streaming sites?
I am not sure tbh.
I already dumped my rootCA.pem file, modified it with some extra certificates, and put it in this path:
/wiiu/sdcafiine/000500301001210a/mypem/content/browser/rootCA.pem
However, I am not sure if the custom pem file is being loaded at all through SDcafiine or not, I don't see anything different, and I tried forcing the plugin to show the screen when loading a mod through the setting, hoping that once I open the browser it'd show up, but it doesn't so far.
Anyone has a clue on what I might be doing wrong?

Starting Apps from the Wii U Menu is an awesome Improvement.

The Tools / Apps,that are still not "Aroma conform" will not work properly !
Take a look on the Date from some Apps,it's been years since the last Update...
Stay on Tiramsu in the Meantime or on CBHC.
Or if you maybe are so lucky and have a little Money left,please get a Second Wii U for Aroma testing.
Many Developers may not even know anything about Aroma....or have withdrawn from the homebrew scene...(for whatever reason, funny......)
Aroma is Beta,still.
Aroma is out since a few Weeks...
It took years for CBHC and that Stuff....
So maybe we should let the Aroma Team do there Work and we will have a wonderful Environment for new Homebrews.
For the People,who maybe,sadly do not have Time to wait,they maybe should better stay by the Switch.....

wuhp and wps formats are awesome, makes homebrew look like an actual game, and wps allows plugins to run in the background, so no need for an ftp app. I'm wondering if we can use btsnd for homebrew or if it's possible. then, it will be perfect.Good Morning.

Because some people like myself like thier stuff organised a certain way. I like to have all my homebrew in one place IE the Homebrew Launcher and would rather not have it on the home screen. But with Aroma I have no option to have it there which annoys the hell outta me but I will get used to it eventuallyGood Morning.

yes, I personally like everything on the home menu. that's why I use wmm on the ps3. it's just more convenient for me. and, you can't beat plugins like using ftp on the home menu.

Yeah.. But seeing how most homebrew are either useless, outdated or outright incompatible with Aroma it should't really be an issue unless you go out of your way and make 50 copies of the Reboot homebrew app for some reason.
it does go with my idea that some pirates pirate for the sake of pirating or simply because they can. the wiiu has a ton of shovelware, but in reality, every system does. maybe 75-80% of the total library for any system is even worth playing. I no longer care about pirating anything and everything I can, because if you lose the hdd, which I have, just imagine all the time you've lost over the years downloading and installing that stuff...
I also don't like how a lot of these people are the ones who attacked me when I was warning them about so called devs and hackers who took advantage of the fact that most in the scenes know nothing. that's what made me hate the ps3 scene and why I'm quitting after the ps4 one. it's like they had no forethought, thinking well if I drive this person away, there obviously there won't be a ps4 or 5 scene or a scene for any successor after the wiiu. total dumb asses. I say figure it out yourself then if I'm so unneeded.
You ok my dude? if you need someone to vent some frustration we're here for ya.
oh, I've hated these people for years. they've made me feel like I wasted my time in all scenes. and, unfortunately, no one came to my aid.
