So I'm using UWUVCI to inject some GameCube games. I've read in some other posts that it has to do with special characters and the only special character I was susing was a hyphen or "-" which I read is allowed. Also I was able to get one game to install correctly and its titled exactly like this on my homescreen "Pokémon XD - Gale of Darkness" and some of the other titles do t have any special characters like none of the Mario parties(4-7) wanted to install correctly and gave me question mark symbols and they were titled without any kind of special characters. So far only pokemone Gale of Darkness has work and 10 others have consistently failed now after multiple tries of repacking it. I usually search for my problems and find answers so I'm kinda stuck now at a point of asking for help so any would be greatly appreciated
Update: So I just repacked Pokemon Colosseum and renamed it with the "acute e" I now learned is how you say é. Also learned the keyboard code for it is Alt+0233. Anyways, it installed just fine now and it's up and running which is weird. Only similarities this shares with how Gale of Darkness was packed is that UWUVCI was used only once to repack this one game instead of multiple games at a time and that a é was used in the naming.
Going to do the other games I want like this too and will report back as I don't believe I'll be the last person to encounter this problem ever.
Update 2: So I replicated my success by doing a fresh boot of UWUVCI and only loading one game at a time. Obviously that's inneffecient, so I tried to do two games in a row. Gauntlet and Mario party 4. Now gauntlet installed fine but Mario party gave me the ? Again. Now I didn't watch the Mario party repack the same way I sat and watched the last 4 games I successfully installed, including gauntlet. I let it just go in the background and did some other things. But it seems atleast for right now UWUVCI doesn't like to repack multiple games at a time. Without doing. A reboot of the program.
Final update: So I did a fresh reboot repack of Mario party 4, then rebooted UWUVCI, and repacked Mario party 5 and then 6 right after without a reboot. Mario party 4 and 5 installed fine and 6 gave me a ? App. So for anyone who encounters the same issue using UWUVCI, this is what caused it for me. Just gotta reboot UWUVCI every repack or use another injector. Hope this helps someone out
