Alexander1970 I had problems too with NUSspli, I found out it was what Maschell said to me, there was file(s) *.rpx not supposed to be there that were making that kind of error, now it's fine.

It is only the Auto Update Option that causes this. The Tool itself works great.😉
Indeed, that is different, thanks for your beta testing and to V10lator working on aroma, haven't pass myself yet. Could you list all that doesn't work on aroma? (or is it better to list what is working at the moment?)

Good Morning,dear Sir.:)

Just a small reminder before you're going to report this for every minor version: Aroma is still BETA, so it having issues is expected.

It seems (according to many from your Answers to User´s Feedback in generell...) you maybe do not like
(too much ?) Feedback.Understandable.
If you do not like Feedback, please be so nice and say it clearly.😉
I accept it and it is ok for me.

I like your Tool,it is a great Piece in Wii U Homebrew History.
Thank you for your Time, your hard Work and your Passion for your Wii U Tool.

I am very sorry if my Feedback(s) (also in the Past, but hey,who needs Feedback from Beta Users..) bothers you.I promise,it will not happen again.

Have a very nice Weekend and good Luck with your awesome Homebrew App
(and maybe more in the Future from you).:)

@Alexander1970 Ofc. I like feedback. Just saying that Aroma is BETA, NUSspli telling "Aroma error" indicates the issue is on Aromas end and that reporting the same issue over and over again won't fix it (Aroma devs are aware of it, they just have other priorities right now). ;)

//EDIT: How do you come to the conclusion that I dislike feedback? For this topic it's just that I get the same quesion a lot of times (on Discord, by DM, ...) and replying to the same question over and over again gets annoying. Sorry in case I passed this to you.
For generall: Yea, I told mrmagicm to not report bugs untill he fixed his mess but this was after a shitload of DMs, so there was a lot behind closed doors before I made this statement... Any other examples I seem to be against feedback?
:)

Completely correct.👌

So you see,we also need some "Feedback" from you....from Time toTtime.
If you say "Issue noted" that´s for us "Testers" a good Thing.😉
You do not must explain Details - Testers like me do not really understand the
"What´s under the Hood Technical Part".🤣

Nothing happens..................when nothing happens,so,please a litte "Communication" from you helps us too.💖
We only want to help you as Developer.

Thank you for your Understanding.😉

100 % agree that when there is an issue being pointed out it should be acknowledged by the dev with a simple message saying it will be fixed in the future or something along those lines.

As for the update issue with NUSspli it would make more sense to just remove the in app updater until a fix is found. If it's not there then nobody can complain repeatedly about it not working.

I see it the exact opposite: Team NUSspli is more than just me. Why is everyone always expecting me to answer? Why is the rest of the team so silent?

100% disagree as the error is not on NUSsplis end. Think about it this way: We would remove the in app updater now but Aroma fixes the issue in a week. Now in a week + 1 second everyone will complain that the updating function is removed while it would work... Better to just state that Aroma is BETA and everyone using it should know what this means.
How to say this more clearly?
YOU'RE USING BETA SOFTWARE! ISSUES ARE TO BE EXPECTED!
Glad to see this project still going strong with Aroma support.
NUSspli had Aroma support one year before the public Aroma BETA... It was the only homebrew with zero-day Aroma support... Just saying cause it seems nobody noted this... ^^

This answer isn't for you but for everyone else reading this: NUSspli never ever used leaked stuff!
Another team member and me where testers at the closed Aroma BETA back in the days. What we learned there + blindly coding against GitHub changes was what made NUSspli Aroma ready before Aroma was publicy released. :)

We don't expect you to answer but it would be nice if when issues are pointed out that there is some acknowledgement from someone on the team otherwise people are going to think the issue will be dealt with in the next update and when it's not people will point out the issue again and then think oh next update it will be fixed and rinse and repeat.like I said previously it only takes someone on the team to say the issue has been noted and will be fixed in the future. As for the rest of the team being so silent that's something you need to take up with them but you are right it shouldn't all be down to you.

This only works if you are sure there will be a short term fix to Aroma. If there isn't one again you are only gonna get people posting repeated about the inbuilt updater not working and you ending up getting upset by the fact its being repeatedly pointed out.

None of what I have said has been done with the intention of pissing you off. I have done it because I care about your app and all the hard work you and all the other WiiU devs have done for us.

You really don't seem like your usual self and you should perhaps think about taking some time out for yourself my friend.

Anyhoo take care.

  • I'm glad I didn't take Tiramisu or Aroma because of headaches changing over. Coldboot haxchi or Haxchi is legend.
FanNintendo...You don't understand: Tiramisu is already Legend, Aroma will be....Takes time to become Legendary!

It's the same for RetroArch, for example Vectrex game are really "bad" on it, but they will work oneday!!
You can always swith to something else to make things work: for example try Argon on android or vectrexy on windows to have them working Nice!! Under Haxchi, you will be able to play cannonball outrun (not freezing after 1M) or cave Story Engine 2, but Bloodpair and newest homebrew won't run under Haxchi ^^

I'm seriously considering changing from CBHC to Tiramisu and Aroma seeing as newer homebrew is going in this direction more and more. Also Aroma has a LOT of potential even though right now it's in beta. To anyone complaining about Aroma being buggy, you have to be patient and understanding that this is only in beta rn. It's going to have issues for a while. If you don't like it, just stick with Tiramisu or whatever setup you have for now until Aroma is out of beta.

For early adopters, make sure your polite in reporting bugs and issues. Don't complain about it. Aroma devs are doing this in their free time and don't owe anybody anything.

Hi, I did as you instructed to put the NUSspli-1.109-HBL.zip Nusspli folder into the wii u/apps folder on my SD card, but when launching Nusspli through the homebrew launcher via the mii maker app it shows this:

Idk how to update Tiramisu as I'm a complete noob when it comes to this stuff sorry.
