you should switch to fat32 but you could just reinstall the fw using daybreak and pick exfat option this time.Im like rlly dumb and pressed that and now it says to format to fat32, is there another more fast way to fix it?
Yes but make sure you backup your emunand as well using Hekate. FAT32 is a better filesystem on Switch anyway, so you’re better off.I just made a same mistake SMH, now I couldn't even boot in atmosphere, so just make backup reformat my sd card to fat32 then I will be able get in CFW?

No, it's the other way round.I've said it repeatedly and will never stop saying it. fat32 firmware install should never even be an option. It should automatically and ALWAYS install exfat. It's only a driver. Installing with the exfat option does not mean that it will change your card to exfat, or that you even have to use it. It only makes you ABLE to use it. This is why the option is just dumb.

Nintendo's exFat driver is crap and we welcome you to write a post whenever the day of judgement comes for you.
ExFAT firmware install should not even be an option because nobody should be using ExFAT. Giving people the option means people that don't know will use it and inevitably have their card corrupted sooner or later and then they come here crying for help. Until Nintendo fixes their shit (which will never happen) there should at the very least be a big bold warning when installing ExFAT firmware, but it would be better yet if the option wasn't there, because some people are going to ignore the warning or just not read it at all.I've said it repeatedly and will never stop saying it. fat32 firmware install should never even be an option. maybe have Hekate flash a warning that you have to click through:ExFAT firmware install should not even be an option because nobody should be using ExFAT. Installing the exfat driver does not format your card to exFAT. It only allows an exFAT card to work. Your card is not touched, unless you tell HOS to format your card. But it is sometimes NECESSARY to let the Switch do so, before you even force the fat32.ExFAT firmware install should not even be an option because nobody should be using ExFAT. I didn't say that it does, but if people have the option to use exFAT they are going to and it will inevitably lead to headaches. That's why on every Switch I've hacked for people I install the FAT32 firmware so people don't end up using exFAT when they upgrade their MicroSD or format their card later down their line.Installing the exfat driver does not format your card to exFAT. Did you forget about this thread @binkinator ? https://gbatemp.net/threads/switch-...with-32k-clusters-but-will-read-exfat.609389/
We all agree that Nintendo's exFAT drivers are shit, but there is always a use case.
and for @denes , You can simply run Daybreak again and choose the exFAT option. Won't hurt anything if that is your choice. It won't make your card exFAT either. But if your card is already exFAT, you really want to backup your card to your PC, then partition as fat32 in nyx, then copy your things back to it afterwards.
And if you don't want to change to fat32 (can't stress enough that you really should, but backup your files first), and the problem is that the card can now no longer be read by HOS, then you need to put Hekate, Atmosphere, and the firmware files onto a fat32 card in order to run daybreak again with the exfat option. Then power off, swap cards, and power on again.
Ayup. I find that if people are directed to format and then partition their card w/ Hekate, instead of just reusing their current HOS formatted SDCard, they get started in the right (FAT32) direction from the beginning. Get them while they are young!I didn't say that it does, but if people have the option to use exFAT they are going to and it will inevitably lead to headaches. You will get complaints either way. If the exFAT version is not installed they will complain to you why their microSD isn't working. If it is they will complain to you why X is crashing/not working after they switched to an exFAT card. The only way to eleminate this problem is a rewrite of the buggy driver. Atmosphere's roadmap does mention the intention to do so at some point.I didn't say that it does, but if people have the option to use exFAT they are going to and it will inevitably lead to headaches. That's fine. I'd rather have them complain and have to tell them to use guiformat, than their card get corrupted. You will get complaints either way.
