But they're 2.3GB (beat saber) which sounds right for the base game, surely if they were just the update file they'd be tiny? I don't see master version listed anywhere in pkg viewer but right at the bottom of the categories it does say version: 1.00, what I listed before is what it says in the bottom left hand side of the window (not in the list of categories). Could an update be that big for a PSVR game I assume would be quite small?
edit: now it makes sense, on the sites it says game/V1 at the top and then V1.59 etc but I got confused seeing it was only 242mb, so in this case the base game is tiny and the update is big. But even in the site's own DL guide they never thought to say must DL V1.00 first, I'm used to DL the base game with the update already applied when it lists V1.59 etc so that doesn't seem to be the case with PKGs for some reason?

I think it’s the fake key it’s been signed with. Real keys are unknown, fake is known.
Seems to me you’re using fixes for the same CUSA but it’s not been married (app + update).
Did you try downloading the game and the fix from the same source or remarry the fpkgs together?

I think it's the base game as he says it's app version 1.00. One way to know for sure is to extract the param.sfo, then pop it into the sfo creator of orbis. It will say if it's a patch.
Thanks guys, the problem was not having V1/base game installed first. It worked once I did so. I have another question: If I use a portable HDD could I send PKGs directly to install on it remotely, and if so how?
