Been playing for around 3 hours straight last night without any issues at all with the Northfear versión.

The only thing that invader me is the extremely tiny letters. I just want to know if there's a Mod or something that can be used for increase the Font Size!
Hmm i understand what you mean .... i will ahve a look myself now i have a few minutes to do so

So do you think Northfear's one has the advantage... Over isages version
I had only try out the Northfear release and since PS3 controller works with PSTV its all fine. Of course isages version need also testing in the same time. But I have not the best knowledge for the Fallout series. For real testing you have to do everything and some speedrun testing, also hardest difficulty, bugs and glitches and reporting it. I was doing it for Quake, Blood and Shadow Warrior ports, I know this games better. Anyway I am happy to play Fallout 2, maybe the coders will also bring Fallout 1 ? Otherwise I have already other releases from Northfear like C&C, he is great, love him !

@ StayNtrueBreal : This small text screen is better with PSTV, its perfect for me. This is a PC game it was never made for handhelds. But maybe option settings works, we have to find it out and report every step.

The framerate feels a bit slow, maybe downsample videos and music can help, but not sure. Currently not many time for testing.

The text is small but I can still handle it..!
Thanks to the latest update from Northfear is not an issue anymore.
Just increase the brightness and change the resolution to 720x480. It doesn't fit the whole screen but still is sharp and most important I can read the font now!

And for extremely cases I use the Zoom from the Vita's accessibility settings!

Mean that I can play fallout 2 on my PS VITA for real!
I never played a game like this before and after 4 hours of gameplay I can understand why some people say that is the best tactical rpg game of all time..

Now the only "issues" that I have is the time 😞..

Had not see that Northfear release was updated, so must test it again.


Changelog (v.1.0.0-vita.3):
- Improved performance
- Improved touchscreen behavior (still not perfect, but definitely better)
- Support for different screen resolutions (resolution can be changed by editing ux0:data/fallout2/f2_res.ini)
You can change the game resolution by editing ux0:data/fallout2/f2_res.ini file and modifying SCR_WIDTH and SCR_HEIGHT parameters. Recommended resolutions are 640x480, 848x480 and 960x544.
Cursor speed can be changed with MOUSE SENSITIVITY slider in game preferences.

Fallout 2 CE is still in early stages of development, so all kinds of bugs and crashes are to be expected.

* Savegames can get corrupted sometimes :
You should try saving on the different save slots to avoid losing the game progress. Rewriting the "corrupted" savegame slot might break the new savegame too. Corrupted save folder from the ux0:data/fallout2/data/SAVEGAME needs to be deleted before it's reused again.

Man you miss something out ! There are so many great updates, even I dont know how to post all of them.

Northfear also updated on Dec14.2022, Heroes of Might and Magic III HD Edition Android Port homm3hd-vita v.1.0.3.
There was 2 amazing updates this year, Dead Space Full FIX and Quake 1 Full Texture FIX. And Full Fix for Redneck Rampage Port, music and demos was also found. Adrenalin 7 works now with PSTV PSX full screen FIX. Wolfenstein 3D SOD2 and SOD3 is now fixed with GOG version over Vitawolfen. This all make it more polish than any other console homebrew !
Nazi Zombies and Call of Vita was also updated, but I dont want this propaganda trash.

Also new : Poppy Kart 1 and 2 Port Android Jan18.2023

And we need more updates from rinne PLEASE :
Exhumed Powerslave - music fix over PCExhumed Port, there is a string with ogg support, rinne must port it into the code.
Alien VS Predator - music fix over FMV folder, its deactivated because of performance.
Hexen II - save file error fix
Tomb Raider 1 & 2 Android - a save file bug is reported

btw : maybe I know the Max Payne problem what you have.

When you start Max, what tell you the error ?

For all homebrews emulators and ports, you need libshacccg.suprx. One of the best option to install libshacccg.suprx is the tool PIBConfig.vpk (I am use it). this tool works perfect for all homebrew stuff. But MaxPayne is the only Port that was give me a error. I am use original vita memory card, when you use sd2vita thats maybe different. Here comes the deal, libshacccg.suprx gets install to ur0:data/external over PIBConfig.vpk, all ports working perfect. Max Payne is the only one port that want libshacccg.suprx into ur0:data - before ''external'' folder. In this fact, just copy with molecularshell or vitashell use /_\ button copy and paste libshacccg.suprx to ur0:data.
After that Max Payne was working.
