I thought I knew everything about this flashcart at this point, but I've just stumbled into an interesting issue.
I have autosave off, and when quitting a game, I sometimes accidentally hit B (don't backup to SD). When booting the game again, even from NOR, it loads whatever save is on the SD card. Is there a way to boot the game with the save that's currently on FRAM? I have toyed around with this quite a bit and can't seem to find a way to do this. Maybe the solution is ridiculously obvious but I'm just not seeing it right now.
Cheers!

No, game boots with the save on the SD card. if you discard the backup, you will lost the last session which you played.
That is why we added an autosave option.

If you restart (power off and on again) does it not ask to backup save again? AFAIK the Jr works this way.

Okay, I thought so. I frequently switch between Cart mode B, and oftentimes in mode A I actually do want to discard the session, so I like to keep autosave off. Luckily I haven’t actually lost any desired progress this way, was just curious if this could be done. Thanks for the reply!
