This is great thanks, it saves a lot of time, can I request one for Nintendont as a elf loader please? Maybe if possible for the main Wii emulators too like WiiSXR and Wii64? I’d do it but I don’t know how to compile the files as elf, sorry, and thanks

Is there a reason that the forwarder has to be installed to USB? Can it be moved to NAND once installed? I wasn’t able to find an answer when I clicked the relevant hyperlinked portion of the instructions.

No. Literally go to the first post, and click on the large, underlined text that says "TO USB".

It can be moved to NAND just fine, the only problem I've found is that it crashes when there's 2 HDDs plugged in at the same time, but I haven't checked if this crash occurs even if the channel is installed on USB.

Please use this one:

USB Loader GX-UNEO_Forwarder_5_1_AHBPROT_vWii (Fix).wad

https://sourceforge.net/projects/usbloadergx/files/Releases/Forwarders/

Do not forget, please uninstall your current Channel please, otherwise you maybe experience Issues during the Installation or it maybe works not properly.

Good luck
Have a very nice Day.😉

I don't get it. The WAD files is for WII/vWII, but i thought the forrwarders files has a extension *.WUP.

The WUP installer GX2 doesn't recognize this file....

you must install it with a wad manager (wii mod lite , Yet another wad manager or others )

read this carefully ==>

Sorry,my Fault.I did not realized you want to boot from the Wii U into the USBLoader GX.
Excuse me.

I am afraid, there is no newer Version and maybe there will not be a newer, since @blackb0x Releases now newer Versions from the USBLoader GX and they are a little "different" from the regular older (until r1272) Releases from @Cyan.

So we have to wait,if @cucholix maybe have a look on it.:)
I fear, @FIX94 is not that active here.....

Also here you have Cyan´s Statement about the USBLoader GX Wii U "Channel Loader":

Did you have this Version installed ?

The one from this thread is the one I use, never had a problem with it. I have it backed up if the link doesn't work or something.

I also had problems running the forwarder from NAND, like a few other people. Apparently, there can be issues with launching a title, that has an ID not starting with 1. (See last comment on shinyquagsire23/woominstaller#3 on GitHub)

So what I did was:
  1. Unpack the WUP part of the forwarder with CDecrypt
  2. Change the title_id in code/app.xml and meta/meta.xml from 00050000554c4758 to 00050000154c4758
  3. Repack with NUSPacker and install
And that seems to have the problem for me.

Did you make sure that ID doesn't interfere with anything else?
