Hacking Riiconnect24 Everybody Votes channel issue on vWii

I've been having this problem for days now and I have no idea how to fix it. I installed every channel successfully and they all work except the Everybody Votes channel. Whenever I boot up the channel, it says "Please set the region where you live" and then when I click ok, it puts me back onto the wii menu. How do I fix this?

This is incorrect. What you actually need to do is set your vWii's displayed region. You can do this with the AnyGlobe Changer (download it via the Open Shop Channel). I ran into the same issue, and I tried transferring my old save file from my actual wii (where the Everybody Votes Channel actually works) and that didn't work. But after some research, I figured out that the problem had to do with the displayed region of the wii (i.e. where your location is shown on the MKWii globe). I used the AnyGlobe Changer to set my displayed region, and it fixed it for me! Let me know if it works for you!
