New Super Mario Bros U 100%

I tried your save, but it didn't unlock the Superstar Road because checksum in save won't verify if collect all star coins, so your save got 25 star coins on record but it supposed to be 246 star coins on record to unlock the Superstar Road properly.

Nevertheless, your save is great to play all levels with unlimited Toad houses with all secret levels unlocked, beside Superstar Road.

Thank you for save, so we need to find a way to fix the checksum or wait for proper save with 246 star coins on record.

i understand games like diablo 3, even mario party and smash bros to unlock all the characters, but what do you need someone else's completed version of new super mario bros u for?

i thought the whole point of that game was to play the levels. and then if stuck, do a quick google search, lol. or worse, in this game just let luigi play the stage slowly automatically, and then at the end, say that u wanna continue and u dont even have to beat the stage urself if you are really truly stuck...

i know i know, everyone can do what they want, everyone is allowed their own opinions and reasoning.

EDIT: i don't mean this to insult or make anyone feel bad. in this case, i would be genuinely curious.

I finished NSMBU by myself but not 100%. It was hard to achieve 100% to get all star coins and secret levels, so all star coins are necessary to unlock the Superstar Road.

I admitted that I'm not professional gamer that manage to get 100% in all games.

It can be useful if you lost 100% save or accidentally delete the save.

I thanked to GBAtemp community for share the saves and they deserves to get full credit for hardworking.

I understand that, thank you for not taking it in the wrong way, i know you didnt owe me anything to tell me too.

Sometimes its nice to be able to say or ask or do what you what you want without being rediculed, insulted, or trolled.

My cousins and I played through this game together to 100% it in a three night sleepover. One of them did most of the game and called us over to help for the harder stages (one guy float in the bubble most of the stage then break out right before a death) and the other guy using the gamepad for any saves. I know without that gamepadluxury some of these stages will be very tricky. I wonder how i will do. So far i barely got about 4 stages with all three coins (without looking anything up) im on the third world.

At this rate, i wouldnt be surprised if i use the gamesave too lol, now that you brought it up.

Sure, after been in different forums and FB for decades, attacking on someone aren’t working well, so that why I took different approach.

Back in early 1990s, my father spanked me for unable to beat Super Mario World on SNES and of course, this game was too hard for some people, especially in later levels. Eventually, we went to Babbage’s to buy cheat device for SNES to beat this game. GameCube was last console that had cheat device, but had to deal with game crash or bugs, so that why people asked for saves to save the trouble.

I found NSMBU to be easy to beat the game but hard to get 100% but not case with SMW so stuck in one level does happen often in old time. Nintendo seems make most game accessible to all as possible but achieve 100% is one of most challenge.

Yes when I was 6 years old with a lot of yelling and I was unable to go to bed until I can beat SMW. My father told me that beat SMW make me feel like real man. I was able to go up to World 4 but got stuck with Castle in World 4, so got punished so it didn’t work and my father took me to Babbage’s to buy Game Genie (cheat device) so finally beat SMW.

It wasn’t first time, I got spanked by my father for deleted all of save data in Zelda by accidentally, so seems like he didn’t know how to inject battery save into cartridge battery, so is it was possible in 1994?

Many baby boomers did weird stuff to millennials when we were child in 80s and 90s.

how to I use the downloaded dat file?
Your gona need either Checkpoint or smth (Its a app) to edit the SD card folders, but if ur playing on a emulator its easier as u can just open the game's save data file and replace the original Dat file with the downloaded version.
