Ship of Harkinian (Ocarina of Time) Wii U Port

This is a port of Ship of Harkinian to the Wii U. Ship of Harkinian is a PC port of Ocarina of Time allowing you to enjoy the game with modern controls, widescreen, high-resolution, and other great features!
Check out the awesome project here!

Quick Start

  • Requires a supported copy of the game (See supported games below).
The instructions below haven't been updated in a while. Join the official Discord for updated builds and support.

Releases:

  1. Download the Khan Charlie 6.1.2 .zip from here or the #downloads channel on the official Discord.
  2. Download the PC OTRGui version from here.
  3. Use OTRGui to create an oot.otr archive file. If you already have a oot.otr file for the latest PC version, you can use that as well.
  4. Copy the oot.otr file to the wiiu/apps/soh/ folder on your SD Card.

Nightly Builds:
:!:
The nightly builds come with up-to-date features, but are experimental. Use at your own risk.
  1. Download the latest soh-wiiu and soh-windows artifact.
  2. Use OTRGui from the soh-windows.zip to create an oot.otr archive file. If you already have a oot.otr file for the latest PC nightly version, you can use that as well.
  3. Copy the oot.otr file and the contents of the soh-wiiu.zip to the wiiu/apps/soh/ folder on your SD Card.

I've installed build 50 and a loving the gyro. I have to ask though, Is there a way to un-invert the camera control stick controls? or some way to push a button to center it like in skyward sword? Its just the gyro controls clash with the inverted joystick controls so its hard to use for aim assist when you haven't used inverted since you were 12 Dx

@Masana @ploggy Update Tiramisu (redownload from https://tiramisu.foryour.cafe , then put the files to the SD card, overwriting existing ones).
beautiful, I didn't realise there were newer updates to Tiramisu, I really need to check there more regularly :)

EDIT:
Works perfect now than you :)
I tried renaming a RA core to soh.rpx and placed it in the soh folder to see if I could boot and exit correctly..
I can boot into RA fine but when I try to exit it just restarts RA.

Forgive me if this obvious but what the hell do I do with the nightly builds?? I tried to follow the op instructions but I see lots of errors when using the OTRgui and even tho I create an otr file I get black screen upon booting. I used the same rom as before

Why do I also have another rpx? Was I supposed to download that or do I keep my original? Sometimes I need this spoon-fed to me...

Hey guys, we've made a little sort of tutorial video on YouTube to help you all in getting things up and running and would like to share it to the forum, but unfortunately can't post a link yet as a "newbie". We'll try to be active here and answer some questions.

You do want to get the new rpx file and replace your original file.

Made a Wii U version with proper controller mapping of this graphic.

It's saved on exiting the game or opening/closing the ImGui overlay (Press "-").
I noticed that the latest builds have a wide-screen issue. Older builds don't have it. The thing I'd love to see fixed is that the port menu controller navigation doesn't work consistently in any of the builds that I've tried. It seems that the pro controller choice is not saved properly so when you launch the game it's likely that you need to grab and charge, because the Game Pad design drains the battery even when the Game Pad and the console are both off, terrible Nintendo's design, the Game Pad and select the pro controller again on the touch screen in order to use the pro controller again. This issue affects the port menu navigation and also the rumble feature that doesn't work if the pro controller is not selected.

All in all, this Wii U port is totally impressive and makes Wii U's The Legend of Zelda library excellent except for a Majora's Mask port once they complete the PC port and someone makes it. This port runs smoothly at 60fps on Wii U if you drop the resolution a bit. Like the PC port, it looks and plays like a remaster. It's the first time I see how Keese look like!

As of now, updated to the new Rachael Bravo release and rpx build #75. I noticed a lot of stutter with Disable Draw Distance turned on, with internal res at 66% and FPS turned up to 60. With it turned off everything seems to be running very nicely. The button remap did disappear when my Pro Controller disconnected on first run through, but after reassigning it then quitting the game, it remembered upon loading the game again and after testing disconnect the remap remained when I reconnected.

iirc the draw distance options, including the kokiri one, is a bit buggy and not recommended in the wii u port atm, as opposed to the pc port.

Made a new, Tiramisu compatible forwarder: https://github.com/V10lator/sohwf/releases/tag/v1.0 :)

Note that this is a real forwarder, so you need to have soh HBL on your SD card.
Would you make a version with The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time art and title?

Are you using the Game Pad? I use it for the shooting galleries and I found that the best configuration for the gyro is: X: -1 and Y: 1.

Here is the link to the video. Let us know if this is helpful and if anybody has any other questions. The second part should be going up this weekend. Just a warning, our other content currently is a lot of video game playthroughs revolving around dumb humor B-) But if you're into that kind of thing go ahead and check it out as well. We may do more informational videos like this in the future though if there are any topics people might need help with.

I have played mostly build 50 until now. I'm playing build 76 now and it seems to be fine. The Wii U pro controller is selected automatically so you don't need the Game Pad to activate it and have rumble work. This is much appreciated.
