btw, the soft reset button combo is in padreadgc.c of the code in case you want to see it. it contains the button mappings for all applicable controllers as well.

Try this loader.dol i've compiled with the tutorial i've posted when you get a chance.
It should work for autobooting GCN games.

https://github.com/saulfabregwiivc/...autoboot-gcn-games/loader/loader.dol?raw=true

Tutorial: https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-...ader-for-games-skip-the-emulator-menu.520525/
I tested it. it worked, but home to exit freezes the console. also, save emulation does not work. I tested it with the nintendont forwarder after that (testing on a wiiu). both of those work correctly there, so something is up with the boot.dol it creates for the apps folder.
@godreborn

Do you remember that last time i compiled it it freezed when pressed the HOME button?
Now with this build i've made of Nintendont with base64 arguments support for autoload GameCube games (tutorial: https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-...oader-for-games-skip-the-emulator-menu.520525) it shouldn't crash anymore.

I compiled the new build with:
- devkitARM r53-1
- devkitPPC r35-2
- libOGC 1.8.23-1

Let me know if it works fine for autoboot GCN games.

tell me that it now everything works and the HOME freeze issue has gone... :D
yeah, I tried both the home button, and the ZR, R, down, and B. both reset the system, no freezes. I was/am running them off a forwarder on the wiiu side. it will most likely go back into the backup launcher if using one of those.

btw, @SaulFabre , you can upload the nintendont folder within the compilation folder. it's already named to boot.dol in there, instead of using loader.dol. I don't know why the official way doesn't use that folder, instead of using loader.dol. both loader and boot.dol files are identical as I hex compared them once, so it will be easier for the user who may not know to rename the file. ;)

this is what I mean:

loader.dol is renamed to boot.dol and placed in this folder once it's complete. I think the instructions are just outdated as this is part of the make file.

I don't remember, but I don't think so. at least, I don't remember it happening, and I most likely hit home. I didn't know about the R, ZR, down, and B button combo until later. this is on the wiiu btw.

Hi all! Looking for a bit of help on setting up custom controller options for Nintendont for use with Triforce arcade games on a modded Wii.

I've been using my modded Wii for many years (the original white model with the GC ports), and have previously been using DIOS-MIOS lite to run Gamecube games through USB Loader GX. I recently took an interest in the Triforce arcade games (particularly the Mario Kart GP games) so I finally set up Nintendont and can launch the games through USB Loader GX.

I was wondering if there is a way to set up a custom controller config when playing Triforce games through Nintendont. Anywhere from simple button reassignments to my dream idea of mapping controls to work with a Logitech Gamecube steering wheel and pedals. (I realize there is no native steering wheel support, but I'm hoping there's a way to map controls at least.) Has anyone attempted to use the Gamecube wheel with the Triforce games, and if so, is there a post, guide, or any information out there I can use to get started?

Thanks for any help you guys can provide! My searches on the subject keep taking me in circles (racing pun not intended :P) so I'm hoping this thread can help point me in the right direction.

Is it possible to access nintendont setting without modding the vWii.

Maybe a forwarder that can be launched from the Wii U side?

Thank in advance
there is already a fowarder for that lol, its a nintendont inject without any game in them you need an sd card and then having a iso on sd card, nintendont only saves settings once you start a game so you need atleast one game in sd/games
