Hacking Applications not working on 4.89

So I jailbroke my PS3 PHAT to 4.89 Evilnat, but whenever I install a .pkg and open it, it's stuck on a blackscreen until I turn off the PS3. I tried a lot of applications like multiman, irisman, webman mod, but same thing. Any tips?

Yeah. Really thankful for the help. I'm installing the right software now. Will update if I go into anymore problems

You might need to clean/format your PS3's HDD and then install 4.89 CFW NoBD @ https://www.psx-place.com/threads/cfw-4-89-evilnat-cobra-8-3-cex.37294/
