Last night i followed all the steps using the 3ds.hack guide and i had success, i tried both plants vs zombies and luigi mansion i managed to play a little before going to sleep, this morning i played some more PvZ and it freeze, so i turned it off and the nest time that i try to turn it on, it appeared this message "Unable to mount CTRNAND or load CTRNAND firm. Please use external one. Press any button to shutdown" and sometimes none at all, the battery light appears red or purple, and it turns off. I can get to the recovery mode, the luna mode and godmode, but this last one after a random time appears a error message and a qr code that goes nowhere.

I'm using the New 3DS XL (red if matters) System Version 11.15.0, Luma v11.0 and boot9strap 1.4, and SafeB9 and all the latest open release files that the guide asked

Please remove how you get the games and the source, thats piracy and a admin will close this thread immediatly.

About your Problem i think should help:
If the notification LED flashes:

  • White: Your 3DS was not able to find boot.firm on your SD card or on internal memory.
  • Magenta: Your 3DS was not able to find boot.firm on your SD card. It was able to find boot.firm on internal memory, but the file is corrupted.
  • Red: Your 3DS was able to find boot.firm on both your SD card and on internal memory, but both files are corrupted.

I Edited the post, there is the source for troubleshoting. You need to redownload luma boot.firm and replace on the SDCard in the main directory. Try running your 3ds and a game. If everything is fine, redo this step
Sorry for the confusion, english is not my first language, but i need to try to run the 3ds with a game without sd, or with a sd? and after i replace the boot.firm, or first i replace and after i run the test?

1. Replace the boot firm
2. Insert your SD
3. Start your 3ds, try a game. Turn off
4. If runs fine, write boot.firm to ctr nand

By the way, this the way to manually update luma, if there is a new version out.

Yes, correct. There begins the step for writing to CTR-Nand. If your in godemode 9 press home button to get in additional menu and go on. (Sorry, i posted the wrong link above bevor)

So i replace the boot.firm, and i tried to play a level of super mario 3d land from a cart, and in the final screen it went black and the same error appeared again "Unable to mount CTRNAND or load CTRNAND firm. Please use external one. Press any button to shutdown", and now the same error appears everytime i turn on the console

Before i did all the process, i did use the h2test to see if anything was wrong with the SD and it was successful, no errors
I'm using the original SD, 4 gbs, that came with the console.

No! You shouldn't uninstall CFW when your system is at this state, and doing so will not magically make the problem disappear..
With cfw, you have a much better chance of fixing the system with all the homebrew tools that you can easily access..

Something is up with your sd card.
The fact that your system boots to the home menu when the sd card is not inserted, but not when it is inserted, is a proof that your sd card is not working correctly.. So I would highly recommend retesting with h2testw, with the "write & read" setting.
Don't forget to backup your data before doing so. And you should format it as FAT32 32kb clusters before and after the test.
Post the result here and we'll see where to take it from there..

Yes, best copy all of your card to pc and reformat the card with fat32formater. Run h2wtest if u like. Copy everything back. Now verify the filesystem with Powershell and the command chkdsk /f /r. Eject the card, dont just pull it out. Try the card in your 3DS.

For sure you have only a clean nand without cfw, so dont flash it back. Else you have to redo the hole hack.

If the problem persists, you can try a update by system recovery. Else you need a CTR-Nand transfer. https://3ds.hacks.guide/ctrtransfer.html

If this doesnt help, there is a stronger CTR- Nand Tranfer with Decrypt9 available.

Thid is a overview with possible steps for a fix.

i did as you said, did a backup of the files, formated it as FAT32 32kb, did the test, and formated again and copy the backup again, but it still shows only a red flashing light and to check if not a baterry problem i turn on the console without sd and is still 3/4 battery full, i will try now Sypherone suggested

Did you replace the Luma3DS file (Boot.firm) that's on the root of the sdcard with a new one, or not?
Can you access the Luma3DS menu when holding select on boot?
at first, the red light blnked and the console rebooted, so i tried with the sd in to turn on again and it reach the luna interface, and after i tried again turning on and it did reach the home, but soon after it went to a new (or one that i didnt see) error "An exception ocurred processor: Arm11 (core 0)

trying to get to the luma always works, but with sd i can't get to the gm9 and without sd i can get to the gm9 and luma too

Can u please try another SDcard? Maybe its incompatible. And redownload all necesarry files if gm9 luma or what ever, best recheck the hacktutorial gor them.

Did i tryed a system update over recovery menu at boot? If nothing helps u need to make a CTRTransfer by following this https://3ds.hacks.guide/ctrtransfer.html . BUT u need to be sure to have a working card! Better get a new, best sandisk to be sure. Else you corrupt your system again.

Ok i will try a new sdcard, do you have any that you recommend? and i don't know if is caused by the bad sd or what, but i dont seem to be able to get into the recovery mode without the console freezing, i cant power down normally and i need to hold the buttown and i cant click anything, and it happens both with and without, this rarely happened before but it happned, but now, like trying to get to the recovery mode, is freezing a lot
