So, my 3ds will boot to godmode9, luma3ds, recovery mode, but not my home menu. I have tried every single method I can find but they either require the home menu or don't work. I would like to reset my 3ds to factory settings and/or fix it. Any help is welcome. Thanks!

Take out your micro sd card and see if it will boot into the home menu. Then power it off, and hold select to see if it boots into luma. If it does, then you might have to format your sd card. Your nnid is stored to the console, so you can redownload all your eshop games. Its simple to reinstall cfw. Follow the 3ds.hacks.guide "checking for cfw" and everything after that and you'll be good. You don't have to copy luma to the nand again unless luma doesn't show up while holding select.

Hope this helps. Make sure to put boot.firm and boot.3dsx in the newly formatted sd card.

Does it boot to an ARM11 error? Or just black screen?
Does it boot to the home menu without the sd card inserted?

But what about important system files? Should I just format the stick and put it back in or copy my 3ds files onto my pc and back onto the reformated stick?

Can you post a pic of your Luma3DS menu with & without the sd card inserted?
This picture is it in, when it isn't in the right hinge glows purple.

I'm not exactly sure, how do I check?
If you want to fix your issue, you should start by testing your sd card with h2testw to make sure it's not faulty or defective, with the write & read setting.
Backup your data before doing so.
Format it as FAT32 32kb clusters before and after the test.
- if it fails the test, then you will need to get a new sdcard.
-if it passes the test, put your stuff back to it, follow the guide here to put all the latest Luma3DS, GodMode9 & b9s files.
Only then you can either restore your nand backup, or do a CTRTransfer if you don't have the backup.
